An Alaska Native of Tsimshian and Athabascan heritage, Charles Clement came to SEARHC in 2011 from his position as Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer for Southcentral Foundation. He played an instrumental role in the organization becoming the first Alaskan health care organization to earn the prestigious Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award.
A graduate of Metlakatla High School, Mr. Clement earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and political science from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. He earned a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage and completed an executive leadership program with the Indian Health Service.

they do not take anything into consideration. they are always suggesting plans and following at least one step then not completing what they have gone over, example would be if you had a root canal plan they would start it and put it off and the tooth would hurt and then they would make sure not to follow through with such things recommended. Dr.Jarvis had made an attempt for a root canal in my situation and then never worked on it and suggested that i have to have an extraction. Then further more told me directly that dentures was a so called "fancy idea". so since i have no other options than searhc i have to continue to see them for care. its not right that health care dictates where you can go, but if i go through hell at least make sure i get some say in it. THANK YOU!!!!

Best dental clinic I have been to while using TriCare active duty dental program. Staff was professional and friendly. They worked with my schedule to get me in for treatment on the same day as my cleaning. What a relief to finally get my fillings done. I'm glad the Coasties recommended this place and that the insurance was pain free. I also used the free shuttle twice, which got me back to work and to the clinic. Call 24 hrs in advance for pick ups from places other than the clinic.

I live in a Rural area and my girlfriend and I came into town for only a few days, as new patients. Everyone who attended to us was professional and helpful, and went out of their way to accommodate our needs given that we hadn't been to a dentist in so long. Big thanks to Lisa for spending hours hand scaling our plaque-y teeth for us! We learned, we felt cared for, and we'll be back!
