Dr. Cohen personally handles dental implants and a wide variety of dental services so that you do not have to worry about taking your family elsewhere for specific treatments and procedures.
Between our modern dcor and our state-of-the-art technology, you will figure out very quickly that our dental office is different from others. We want you to feel right at home from the very start while also reassuring you that were up to date with the latest that dentistry has to offer. We can briefly show you around the dental office when you arrive; this way, you will find it much easier to relax when the actual treatment begins.
From the gentle, thorough hygienist that always makes sure your teeth are as clean as possible to the helpful front desk staff that walks you through the check-in process, everyone at Julington Creek Family Dentistry is primarily concerned with helping you and your family have a positive experience with our dental office. During each visit, we hope you take the time to get to know our team a little better; we always enjoy welcoming new members to the dental family.
In addition to dental implant surgery, Dr. Cohen has completed advanced training in comprehensive cosmetic and restorative dentistry at some of the most prestigious institutes of learning including: The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, The Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, and the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic.
Cristina has been working in the dental world for two full decades so far, and she loves being part of such an amazing team with so many wonderful patients! A Gainesville native, she studied at Santa Fe College.
Away from work, Cristina has a daughter, a son, and two grandkids. She loves hanging out with her family in her spare time, as well as enjoying the outdoors, going to the beach, and listening to live music. She's also a huge lover of ALL animals!
Brandi joined our dental office in 2018 and has almost a decade of dental experience. She loves helping people feel confident about their smiles and teaching them the best ways to achieve and maintain a healthy mouth. She attended Florida State College at Jacksonville and is certified in local anesthesia.
Brandi and her husband, Thomas, have a baby girl named Georgia. If shes not hanging out with family, Brandi enjoys being outdoors, and as a big animal lover, this may involve taking care of her chickens or rescuing and rehabilitating baby squirrels! She also likes hunting and fishing, and occasionally, she doesnt mind being a girly girl and going shopping and being pampered.
As our assistant, Chevon loves being able to meet new people while also helping them improve their smile! She studied through the Red Cross Volunteer Program and is also EFDA licensed. Before joining the dental world, she was a childcare provider for 17 years.
Chevon is married to a retired Marine, and they have three wonderful children together. They're grateful to the Marine Corps for giving them the amazing opportunity to travel to many different places around the world, including some time spent living in Japan. Today, her favorite hobbies include hiking, traveling, and doing pretty much anything that involves the outdoors.

So grateful to Dr. Cohen and staff for helping me with a bit of a dental emergency this morning :) the office is clean and state of the art... and the staff is so great! I have a bit of anxiety about dental appointments, but the dr, the staff, and the TV's in the ceiling help!! Thank you!! See you all in 6 months for my cleaning! Edit... I gave that review 3 years ago, and I still stand by it! Dr. Cohen is really good. He fixed a filling that had come out and it was probably the best experience! The entire staff rocks!! 5 star! Thanks again!

I have been going to Julington Creek Family Dentistry for years. Dr. Cohen and his staff go out of their way for their patients. I would definitely recommend Julington Creek Family Dentistry.

After going to a well know and highly publicized dental practice for years and feeling like my wallet was their only interest, I decided to go to Julington Creek Family Dentistry and I am so glad I did! Dr. Cohen not only saved my tooth that I was told needed an implant, but he is thorough, professional and affordable. The staff is a reflection of Dr. Cohen! They are all so nice and professional. I have since had my grandson in there and likewise have been so pleased with the treatment he received. I can not recommend this office enough!

Dr Cohen was amazing! My daughter had an emergency when she cracked her tooth. Dr Cohen went out of his way to see her the same day. He was patient and kind, as was his staff. Highly, highly recommend!

As an adult I have really bad dental anxiety from past bad experiences with both dentists and orthodontists growing up. This has prevented me from stepping foot into a dental office in quite literally 10 years. I did my research looking for a dentist that offered sedation/comfortable dentistry services knowing I'd need some encouragement being in the chair. Dr. Cohen and his staff are amazing! They made me feel comfortable and made sure I was ok throughout my entire visit with it being my first cleaning/exam in so long. So thankful to have found a dental office that truly seems to care and listened to all my anxieties/worries/concerns. Happy to have started the process of better oral health with this office!

Dr. Cohen did two fillings for me today and it was a great experience over all. The injections were painless and he really took his time perfecting the fillings. Chevon kept me comfortable the entire visit and did a great job of making me feel relaxed, despite being in the dental chair. Their hygienists are also both equally amazing. Highly recommend JCFD!
