The Dental office of Dr. Julie A. Izen was founded in 1996 by with the vision of creating a dental practice that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. The staff and hygienists at the Office of Dr. Julie Izen are highly-trained and exceptionally friendly. We understand that for many, visiting a dentist can be a stressful experience. Our comfortable surroundings and compassionate dental professionals will ease your fears.
Julie is a proud member of the Nassau County Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association. She participates annually in 'Give Kids a Smile' and other philanthropic activities of the Nassau County Dental Association.
Dr. Augenstein is a graduate of Central Blvd. Elementary School, JFK Jr. High School, and a 1970 graduate of Bethpage High School. He received his BA from Adelphi University and his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Upon his graduation, he returned to Bethpage to practice, first in the office his father started on Broadway and, in 1992, moving to the present location on Stewart Avenue. Dr. Augenstein is a member of the Nassau County Dental Society, the New York State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He is also an active member and past officer of the Greater South Bay Study Club.
In addition to keeping up-to-date with advances in the dental field by constantly taking continuing education courses, Dr. Augenstein has received advanced training using the three major implant systems currently available. Outside of the office, he continues to contribute to the community through his participation with the Plainview-Bethpage Rotary Club, where he is a board member and past president.

Our dedicated staff works together to provide high quality comprehensive care. Our compassionate and professional team takes pride in paying close attention to each of our patient's needs.
With offices located in both Plainview and Quogue we provide flexible as well as some extended hours to serve our patient's needs. Dr. Julie Izen provides dentistry with a woman's touch! Nitrous Oxide (sweet air) is available upon request. Dr. Izen performs both cosmetic and restorative dentistry including implant restoration, extensive crown and bridgework, Lumineers and Invisalign.

As always, Dr. Izen's staff was welcoming, reassuring, professional and conducted the routine cleaning with gentleness. And of course, Dr. Izen was her usual top-notch self...focused, friendly and extremely efficient.

This was my first appointment, and will certainly not be my last appointment at Dr. Izen's practice. From the moment I walked in to her office I can tell patient safety is a concern they have taken all the precautions necessary to keep their staff and patients safe and healthy. The front end receptionists were very nice, professional and informative. I was then introduced to the hygienist Helen. Helen is extremely professional and excellent at her job. She was very gentle and meticulous on my cleaning. I especially can compare as I have gentle gums and she was very careful. One of the best, if not the best cleaning I received. Dr. Izen came into the room very promptly after I was done with the cleaning and she completed her exam. She was very thorough and informative. Between Dr. Izen and Helen, they recommended several things for the health of my teeth and gums that I will put into practice. I already made my next six month appointment.

Amazing service. They calm you when your nervous. They go over everything with you before its done. Nice attitude. Good advice from them. Pay attention to any allergies or health concerns. Is wheelchair accesible.
