In high school Dr. Judy volunteered at a U.S. Public Health Service Hospital and was taught chair-side dental assisting skills by the dentists on staff. She thoroughly enjoyed working with the young dentists who came to work at the clinic after graduating from dental school. Dr. Judy says the dentists were passionate about their work and eager to share their knowledge. Their enthusiasm was contagious and Dr. Judy was caught up in it. Excelling at assisting with a growing fascination for the field of oral health, she was strongly encouraged by the dental staff to pursue dentistry as her vocation.
Dr. Judy is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association. She was a California State Board Dental Examiner, and served on the Peer Review Board of the San Francisco Dental Society. Dr. Judy was voted one of the Bay Areas top-rated dentists by the Bay Area Consumers Checkbook magazine.
After practicing dentistry in San Francisco for over 18 years, she, her husband Brian and their menagerie of two cats and two parrots moved to Scottsdale in search of a better climate and an improved lifestyle. Dr. Judy believes that open communication is paramount to establishing a trusting long term patient-dentist relationship. Every visit involves discussing your concerns and expectations and ensuring your comfort during each phase of treatment.
Teri has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. After college and receiving her CDA degree, she worked in orthodontics and general dentistry. Teri and her husband have three grown children and three grandchildren. She enjoys the arts, her dogs and loves chocolate!
Lillie has been in dentistry for over 15 years. She has experience from management and finance to chairside assisting. Lillie is a native Arizona girl, from the Prescott area. When not in the office, Lillie can be found spending time with her husband and daughter, either planning their next vacation or bouncing around the valley tasting the best local craft beers and nosh
Karen has been in the dental field for over thirty years. She began her interest in Dentistry with a professional internship program during her senior year at Mesa High School then graduated4 years laterwith her dental hygiene degree from Phoenix College. She is a Valley native and 4th generation Arizonan. She is the mom to 4 terrific children and 3 adorable grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, photography, tennis, dining out, boating, Broadway shows, museums, music and anything with her family. She is excited to join the team and is looking forward to getting to know our wonderful patients.
Valerie graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She provides a gentle approach to dental hygiene. Making sure her patients feel welcome and appreciated is a top priority. For Valerie, the most rewarding part of being a dental hygienist is seeing positive results as her patients oral care improves. She loves being part of a caring team who provides individualized treatment to each patient. Val loves spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, cooking and watching baseball.
