I love being an orthodontist and cant imagine a more fulfilling profession. Every day is spent with remarkable people, each of whom is in the process of changing their life by changing their smile. My days are filled with great conversations and Im constantly surrounded by happy, smiling people!
I love meeting new people, getting to know who they are, and learning about their lives. Its fun to hear about their latest successes and adventures at work, school, or in extracurricular activities. I am glad to be part of peoples lives during such a pivotal time.
Many people start orthodontic care feeling self-conscious about crooked teeth. This affects their self-esteem and they tend to uncomfortable around their peers. Once we begin treatment, each person begins to change. From visit to visit, I see those remarkable changes as people see how their smile is transforming.
A key part of being an orthodontist is staying current on developments in technology, technique, and materials. Every day, new options are developed and made available: its essential I am fully aware of those options and carefully evaluate them to decide if theyre right for our practice.
Each year I dedicatemany hours tocontinuing orthodontic education, learning from leading researchers and practitioners. This keeps me engaged in modern advancementsand allows me to explore new challengesas I strengthen and expand what were able to offer patients.
I grew up right here in Mesa and am glad to practicing in my home town. When not working, my priority is being with my wife, Tina, our eight children, and my dog, Cooper, who thinks hes one of the kids. If not in the office, theres a good chance Im at a sporting, theatrical, or musical event supporting my children.

You will not find a friendlier group of front-counter representatives or technicians. They truly are the gold standard for customer service. Even when I called to inquire about a bracket, the girl who answered the phone was extremely informative and accommodating. Given the nature of orthodontics, you won't have a lot of time with Dr. Judd; the technicians apply the braces. But the guy could not be friendlier or more helpful. He really knows his stuff and answered every one of my questions. He was super patient with my ignorance of the process and the options. If you are thinking about getting braces for you, or your kids, don't waste time looking anywhere else. This is the place you're looking for.

My kiddo had some funky looking teeth. I was so pleased with her ortho experience. The appointments were quick and efficient. The staff was always friendly. Her braces journey ended sooner than expected; pretty sure it was due to the encouragement of staff regarding the wearing of rubber bands etc. Can't recommend Judd Ortho enough. I'm sure I'll be back with my other kiddos.

Dr Judd and his team went above and beyond in taking care of my son's braces. They were patient and understanding with the extra care he required and the many brackets he broke. He had a positive experience each visit he had for the 5 years he had braces. Will definitely recommend Dr Judd to family and friends needing braces! Thank you!

Dr. Judd is the absolute best! The entire staff is absolutely amazing and accommodating. They talked us through the entire process which made everything such a breeze. I recommend Judd Orthodontics over any other in the valley!!

Judd Orthodontics took care of my husband's teeth as well as our teenage son's teeth. Dr Judd and his entire staff took such great care of them and their teeth are beautiful! We're so happy with the outcome and with the follow-up care. It's been a few years since my husband's braces, but Dr Judd still checks in to see how the retainer wearing is going. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND JUDD ORTHODONTICS!

Had these for 3 years while in high school and I paid them off myself. Didn't fix my overbite problem at all or my jaw problems. After wearing my retainer for the time I was suppose to my bottom teeth ended up still being crooked. Worst decision to get braces. Not happy at all. In fact I'm furious.

I was referred to Dr. Judd 1.5 years ago from Caffill dentistry. I am a middle aged woman who was very unhappy with the alignment of my teeth and wanted to make a statement for all of the older women. My braces came off this morning and my teeth look AMAZING! Dr. Judd gave me the look I so desperately wanted. Dr. Judd is a very kind, patient and funny man, please come see him for your orthodontic needs, he will exceed your expectations. The staff is equally as amazing as Dr. Judd. I promise you, you will be amazed!
