I knew at the age of 5 that I wanted to follow in my dad's footsteps and pursue dentistry. I've always enjoyed working with my hands, like building models, doing puzzles, playing piano, and therefore dentistry! I studied biology at the University of Washington, then graduated from dental school with honors from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. I was fortunate enough to work alongside my dad for 10 years in Renton, WA. Once he decided to retire, I realized that I wanted a change also, and was given the opportunity to join Dr. Chelsea's team at Juanita Family Dentistry in December 2020! I have been involved with several local study clubs, have advanced training in Invisalign, and have been named one of SeatteMet's Top Dentists for the past 5 years. I am so passionate about dentistry - I absolutely love what I do. I hope to help patients feel more at ease with each dental visit, to help educate them about their dental needs, and make them feel great with a smile.

Born and raised in Seattle, I did 13 years of dance (ballet, tap, jazz, and modern) at British Dancing Academy, and also took piano lessons for 10 years. Nowadays, I enjoy working out, rollerblading in the summertime, and spending time with friends and family. I love movies and music in general, and I'm also a huge Disney fan =)

We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.

A dental implant is an artificial tooth that acts like a natural one. Its a long-term solution to replace one or more missing teeth. A dental implant replaces the entire tooth, from root to crown, and offers important benefits, like increased stability, durability, and aesthetics.

The root of a dental implant is a small, post-like device made from titanium or titanium zirconium. It is inserted into the jaw bone in place of a missing tooth root, and acts as a support for an artificial tooth crown.

The healing phase lasts between three and 12 weeks, depending on the individual medical situation. During this period, the implant becomes securely attached as the jaw bone grows and bonds with ita process called osseointegration. Once healed, the artificial root acts as a base for an individual crown, multi-tooth bridge, or an entire dental prosthesis.

With conventional crown and bridge treatment, healthy neighboring teeth must be ground down in order to support a bridge. This results in the loss of natural tooth surface. Furthermore, the bridge does not transmit chewing forces to the jaw bone, so bone deterioration may also occur.

Even the best prosthesis will always be a separate part that requires extensive care. By contrast, a dental implant acts as a natural root that merges and integrates with the body to act like a natural tooth.

Implants transmit chewing forces to the jaw bone, helping to maintain your bone and facial structure. This is not the case if teeth are missing, or when a conventional bridge or dentures has been placed. If these forces cease, the bone may slowly recede and the shape of the face may change over time. Dental implants can help prevent this gradual bone deterioration, as they mimic the action of the original root.

Laughing, kissing, singing, and eating like beforeimplants can improve your quality of life. Missing teeth can cause self-consciousness and insecurity, and ill-fitting dentures can cause permanent discomfort. These inconveniences come to a welcome halt with dental implants.

Dental implant therapy is a well-proven, state-of-the-art medical dental technique. For decades, dental implants have been tested and used worldwide by qualified dentists and surgeons. Today, implants offer the possibility to treat almost every indication for missing teeth. According to results of a survey carried out in Germany, 98% of patients indicated their satisfaction level with their dental implants was good or very good.1

I am one of those people who has avoided visiting a dentist based on my past experiences because those dentists wanted to make money out of me without taking into consideration of my well-being. The Juanita Family Dentistry is the exact opposite; they put the well-being of the patient first. The atmosphere is really welcoming and one thing I particularly noticed they don't seem rushed (though they are very busy) and give the patient their full attention as they work through their issues. My first meeting with Dr. Tiffany was amazing. I remember she told me that the advice I am going to give is something I would give to my brother. She put my health interest first. Shout out to the real MVP of Juanita Family Dentistry Katie, Bella, Amanda, Michelle, Hayle, Kristen, and Porsche. These ladies have been so helpful during my visits, have always answered my questions, and addressed my concerns till I am satisfied. I like the fact that they get to know their patients. Additionally, they also take care of my future scheduling visits. I can state with certainty that going to the dentist is no longer a frightening ordeal and is now something I look forward to. I can't emphasize how talented these people are. I would HIGHLY recommend Juanita Family Dentistry.

They push things onto you that are not necessary(just read the other comments), when they ask what they could have done better they just blame it on an app(zocdoc), the hygienist will tell you one thing but the lady in the office drinking her starbucks will tell you another and the doctors do not help you unless you have money. I got turned away from a regular cleaning for having too many 4's in my gums...but as they said to me a regular cleaning does not even touch your gums, so why was I turned away? I am now shopping for a new dentist due to how I was treated at this clinic. Also a deepclean here is $300 over anywhere else in the kirkland area.

This was my first time visiting, but everyone was so nice and welcoming! Porshe, the dental assistant gave clear cut instructions and walked me through the whole process of taking my xrays, images, and 3D images of my teeth. Tiffany was so pleasant and she was able to answer one of my major concerns that I was worried about for a while now, which put me at ease. Lastly, Michelle, the dental hygienist, who was the one who cleaned my teeth was very thorough and gentle with the instruments. She noticed I had a burn on the roof of my mouth and was pretty careful around that area. I guess one of the con that I noticed while in the office was the wait time transitioning from seeing the dentist to seeing the dental hygienist.

This dental practice is about selling Invisalign. Tried pressuring me to 'make my smile beautiful' every time I went for cleaning or filling. They also post the bill 9 months after the last visit and then expect to get paid immediately or send it to collections. No explanation of the bill, only amount due. Extremely shady.

Not a fan of this dental office. The front desk staff seemed nice and friendly, but the one who helped me with removing and installing attachments for my invisalign was very unprofessional. If I could give her a negative amount of stars I would.. It is really a pain and suffering for this visit. I didn't get any uncomfortable feeling with the same procedure from the previous dental office before I was transferred. Her manner was very unsettling. She seemed not organized while she turned suction on in my mouth before she slowly went to prepare and install washing tools . She spoke in whispers while all the noisy tools were running in my mouth. How would you expect me to hear? She didn't have me put on sunglasses while I was lying down & doing a Xray while my eyes were getting irrigated. All of those are weird practices. If I had known I would be transferred to this office as my previous dentist who left her office where I started my invisalign process, I would have never considered this procedure. Be careful and do more research when you choose a dental office to get your invisaline treatment!
