The first time I visited the place, it was very clean and calming. The receptionist was very respectful and helpful throughout my time there. After filling out the paperwork, the waiting time was only 10 minutes, which I was surprised at because other oral surgeon offices or dentists take way longer to see the doctor. After I was done doing X-rays, I was introduced to Juan Carlos. First of all, Juan was very nice and friendly. He made sure I was in good hands, which I was very grateful for. Throughout the tooth removal, he made sure I was OK and not in pain. The whole tooth removal process took at least 40 min for me. It depends if you choose either local anesthesia or iv sedation, but in my case, I chose local anesthesia. After I was done, I felt no pain and everything went well. The only con I've had is that I had to wait a month for the appointment because the place was fully booked, so if you're in pain from a toothache, I recommend looking somewhere else. The place is not a "walk in". You need to call and make an appointment before going. If not, they are not going to assist you. Overall, my experience was very good and I'm very satisfied.

Incredible! After reading all the negative reviews, it all makes sense!! This office is unethical and on top of that they provide AWFUL customer service. They want to charge my husband out of pocket for something he doesn't need. The insurance covers the tooth removal but they want to charge an extra $700, to make him "comfortable". The receptionist has a nasty attitude and will do everything she can to not help you. She is incredibly condescending and not very knowledgeable. STAY AWAY, TRUST THE REVIEWS!!! ****************************FOLLOW UP************************* If this unethical office wants you to pay for something out of pocket CALL YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER IMMEDIATELY. They told my husband he would need intervene anesthetic and would have to pay out of pocket. My husband found that unusual because he has had tooth extractions and never needed intervene anesthetic. So we asked why? The rude receptionist said its just what the dentist does, take it or leave it. Finally after days of being given the run around the Manager on duty tells me its because he has "HIGH BOOD PRESSURE" This is news to my husband and I!! But wait... our insurance does cover intervene anesthetic, only if they are proved a medical reason.(Which they have ie. "High blood Pressure")The manager lied to me and said that they provided all this information to the insurance and it was still denied. LIESSS! I called my insurance provider and there was NO mention of this in the letter that was sent to them. THEY ARE RATEROS...THIEVES OR SIMPLY INCOMPETENT . STAY FAR AWAY!!!

Excellent Surgeon Dr Defex! The doctor performed a very difficult third molar extraction on my son . He's still recovering from the extraction . My son was comfortable during the extraction. we opted for the gas mask , . The doctor has excellent bed side manners. He's pleasant and kind . His front desk staff are all very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this dentist to all my friends and friends.

I was scheduled to have my wisdom teeth removed at this office back in January. However, a few days before the appointment the office staff called to confirm, during this conversation I addressed a few concerns I had about my recovery to the office representative. I suggested that I should reschedule in order to appropriately deal with my concern but was assured by the representative that I should instead come in on the date of my appointment and express my concern to the doctor directly. UNFORTUNATELY for me, this meant that as soon as I explained my situation to the doctor and decided to postpone my surgery, I could not reschedule until I paid a $100 fee?! Since they failed to correctly address my situation over the phone they decided to charge me for telling me to come in! I am extremely disappointed in the lack of ethics and respect from both the office and the doctor. I was told when I explained my situation that I would hear back shortly however, I didn't hear back until I had to call back now 8 weeks later in March. The doctor and his office practice a form of baiting and switching that is incredibly deceptive for a "medical professional" I would not recommend this office to anybody and would suggest you do your due diligence to find a place willing to treat their patients with respect.

The most unprofessional dentist we have faced, refused to see my mom because she wanted to proceed with the insurance and not give him cash. He walked away from her without giving proper explanation with an excuse that he is busy and has surgeries. My mom had to wait for this appointment for 3 weeks to be seen (even it is an emergency) and refused by this dentist. Waste of time. He has no ethical manners.

Wish i could give 10 stars such a professional group of people here from Dr Defex all the way to every one of his staff. You can tell the deeply care for your teeth and your situation. Went to 2 other dentists prior to this both who were scared to work on me not Dr Defex he was and is confident in his work. Had a cyst growing underneath my impacted wizdom tooth which created a dangerous scenario for the Dr. to work on but he assured me not to panic and that he would give his 110% to make sure no complications occured. He completed his job in half the expected time safe to say no complications! Would definetely recommend other patients here for outstanding work love and care. A++++ Service thank you Dr and staff!!! Will never forget you guys!!!

I went to get my bottom wisdom teeth removed due to pain. They took many precautions for COVID. The office space was neat and clean. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. Before the removal, I did get a consultation with Dr. DeFex and was helpful in explaining all the options I can take. His nurses reassured me I'd be okay and answered all the questions I had (i did ask a lot lol). If there was one thing, I would've wished that I would be explained thoroughly the procedure of what would happen when I come in before especially during COVID times. I did not know I was not allowed to bring someone inside with me only until I came to the front door. It would've been nice to know beforehand. They also did cover me with plastic from the shoulder down and was required to take off my shoes to wrap them in plastic. This was really appreciated as I did not want to put any one at risk (also filled COVID symptoms sheet in the beginning). I also had to wear a plastic hair cap but I wear the hijab so this kind of became a problem but the nurses were really respectful and helped me with this but it did make me a little uncomfortable. The actual procedure was painless and well done. Dr. DeFex did text me a few days after the procedure to ask if everything was okay which was greatly appreciated! If you're thinking of going here, you should definitely go they were great!

Excellent* Excellent* Excellent* from start to finish. At first I was petrified prior to the two extractions, the bone grafting and the tissue regeneration, but Dr. De Fex answered all my questions very patiently, explained me the procedure and he and his assistant made me extremely comfortable. The procedure was virtually painless. He has excellent bed side manners. He called me later that evening to follow up on my condition. Thank you so much Dr. De Fex, the assistant and the receptionist.

Lovely staff very informative and helpful. Dr. De Fex is very to reach 24/7 if I have questions. I just had 2 wisdom tooth extraction last week and it was my first time having my teeth extracted professionally and I was petrified. But I was given enough pain medication that i don't feel anything.
