At JT Dental, our philosophy is simple: treat our patients the way we would want to be treated. That means creating a safe, welcoming environment. It means working with a compassionate, experienced and dedicated staff. It means honest and straightforward communication. It means informing our patients and working with them to find the right solution.

These things were true when the practice was founded by Dr. Chroust in 1986. They were true when Dr. Thimjon (shown) took over in 2021. And they will be true tomorrow. And while going to the dentist may never be fun, we know it can be a positive experience. Hey, you may even look forward to it.

Prior to entering the dental profession, Dr. Thimjon spent twelve years in a successful business career, primarily in the field of health care. He participated in several mission opportunities to the country of Haiti. He believes strongly these experiences have positively shaped his practice philosophy. Dr. Thimjon is focused on providing quality dental care in a conservative, kind and empathetic manner. He loves to educate and help patients make the best decision for their individual needs. It is always his goal that patients have a positive dental experience.

Dr. Thimjon remains an active member of various professional organizations and is committed to expanding his knowledge through continuing education. He continues to have a strong interest in dental service missions, specifically to the country of Haiti - the birthplace of his two adopted children. Having one child who is Deaf, keeps him and his family busy learning American Sign Language. When not in the office, Dr. Thimjon enjoys experiencing good food, architecture, the arts, and traveling to the family cabin in Wisconsin.

I have been with the practice since 2020. The part I like most about this office is getting to know the patients. Outside of work I like to spend time with my two kids, going on walks with our dog Sarina and being a member of my book club.

I have worked at the office since 2016. I love my job because I thoroughly enjoy my co-workers and interacting with our patients. In my spare time, I love to be with my husband and kids and being outdoors. I also enjoy music, going out to eat, shopping and a good night with my favorite television shows!

I have been with the practice since 1995. The best part of my job is all the wonderful patients I get to meet. . .and after so many years they all seem like family to me! Outside of work I like to spend time with my family. I enjoy walking, running and taking long bike rides with my husband.

I joined JT Dental in 2021 and I am so excited to work with such a great team of people! Getting to know the patients is one of my favorite parts of dentistry. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and family.

I have been with the practice since 2019. I love our very caring dedicated team and the relaxed atmosphere of the practice. Now that I am an empty nester, I enjoy mothering my three dogs. I love taking family vacations especially if it is to explore a National Park to go hiking.

As a licensed dental assistant, I have enjoyed helping restore smiles for 35+ years, 28 of them here in Rosemount. Moving into my new role as OSHA manager, I will continue to strive for the highest standard for our great patients and team. When not reading dental journals, I love gardening, fishing, playing with my chickens and catching up with our 3 adult children.

I have been with the practice since 2003. I feel very fortunate to have found a job with such great coworkers as well as wonderful patients! Outside of work I enjoy trips to the family cabin in Northern Minnesota. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and two adult sons, walks with our sweet dog Roo, and any type of jigsaw/word puzzle.

Ive been with JT Dental since 2021, but have worked with Dr T for the past 4 years. What I like about the office are the patients we get to interact with on a daily basis. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my Pomeranian dog Milo. I am always eager to hear about interesting foods and trying new restaurants!

I have been a hygienist for over 35 years and love helping people achieve the perfect smile. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband Don, three daughters and a son-in-law. I also love sleeping in, reading a good book, going for a walk and working on my newest quilt creation! I love to travel and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Boundary Waters, but it is my dream to one day visit the Holy Lands.

I am writing to you today to let you know that I have sold the practice to Dr. Jason Thimjon and I am transitioning to a part time status at the dental clinic. I continue to love dentistry, however believe the time has come for me to explore a new chapter in life.

The trust and confidence you have shown in me these past 35 years has been a blessing, and has been greatly appreciated. You have entrusted to me a great gift; the care of your friends, your family and yourselves. For that I am truly grateful. For this reason, I have taken the selection of my successor very seriously.

Dr. Jason Thimjon was a student of mine ten years ago at the University of Minnesota Dental School. He was an excellent student. I believe he is an excellent dentist and just as importantly a good person. We have had many long discussions about patient care and the importance of developing long term relationships with the people who trust us with their dental care. I believe Dr. Thimjon and I have similar views in this regard.

Throughout my career I have been blessed with loyal and trustworthy staff. I never had to ask for excellence, they consistently gave it. You will continue to see the same experienced and dedicated staff and will receive the same devoted attention from each staff member. I have been truly fortunate to have worked with staff members who have made my work life so enjoyable. I look forward to continuing to work with them on a part-time basis and will continue to teach as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota Dental School.

To all of my patients, I wish to convey my sincerest thanks for your trust, confidence and friendship these many years. I look forward to seeing you, speaking with you and introducing you to Dr. Thimjon over the coming months during this transition period.
