Dr. Adkins is dedicated to providing excellent dental care to each and every one of her patients. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2005. Since that time, she has mentored under some of the states finest dentists, run several corporate dental practices, owned and operated her own practice and started a school for dental assisting. She has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education and continues to expand her dental knowledge beyond restorative dentistry to include some procedures in orthodontics, surgical extractions, and dental implants.
In 2016, she fulfilled a lifelong ambition by acquiring ownership of both Honey Creek Dental and McDonough Family Dental from two of the areas finest dentists, Dr. Edgar Gilchrist and Dr. James McMullen. Dr. Adkins practices dentistry at the renamed JSA Dental Care. Both practices offer the highest standards of dental care.
Dr. Adkins is originally from England and enjoys traveling back to the 'Old Country as often as she can. She has three children and a wonderful husband. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

I felt very comfortable. Mrs. Joy is so sweet, and caring. I love how everyone was so nice and understanding. I have a lot of anxiety about the dentist but this place was awesome ! Highly recommend!

First off, you have to know that I am borderline terrified of going to the dentist. I'm not an anxious person by nature but I am when it comes to work being done in my mouth. I've had a bad tooth that had broken to the gum. I kept putting it off and putting it off. My experience at JSA was GREAT. The staff are super nice and Dr. Adkins is AMAZING!! She made me feel comfortable and did quick, excellent work. I don't even know how she got that tooth out but she did! I will be going back, and that's saying something. Thank you for calming my nerves and doing such a wonderful job!

This has been my dental office since 2004. I haven't been in since 2016 and I broke a tooth yesterday and they seen me first thing Monday morning! They were very kind and gentle. Answered all my questions and I never felt like I was a bother. All great people! I highly recommend JSA Dental!

The staff is always so friendly, the doctor does excellent work, they always answer my curious questions and work with me to get what I need done. I won't go anywhere else. I love Dr. Adkins!

I've been to the office twice now. Every person. I have come into contact with, both on the phone and in the office, have been very kind and professional. I've got quite a bit of work to be done and definitely glad I found this office to get it done with.

My experience with JSA Dental. My name is Kenneth Tate I I had not been to the dentist in about 20 years and I was hesitant to go to a dentist because I thought I would be criticized or scold for not going to the dentist in such a long time. But after visiting with this practice I left that day with a good feeling the staff was polite and everyone I came in contact with only saying positive things but letting me know the reality of what needed to be done in order to make my teeth last longer. Although some teeth have to be removed my teeth are in much better shape than they ever been in a long time. As a result I look forward to coming to this office each time I have an appointment because I know I will leave with a positive feeling. I would recommend JSA Dental to any person I know that would desire any type of dental work thanks again
