Dr. JP graduated from USC Ostrow School of Dentistry in Los Angeles and went on to pursue post-doctorate training focusing on cosmetic dentistry, hospital dentistry, and dental surgery at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by Harbor Medical Center.
He then completed a fellowship in Oral Implantology at the University of Nevada and California Implant Institute. Dr. Rwigema is a certified Oral Implantology Specialist and has earned fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. JP is a standout in his profession because of his extensive knowledge and continuing studies.

HORRIBLE DENTIST, HE TOOK OVER FROM DR. LIBERMAN, (WHO DIED), WHEN THERE FOR TEETH CLEANING AFTER LIBERMAN DIED. NEW DENTIST HAD A HYGIENIST CLEAN MY TEETH. HAD FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT IN JANUARY FOR SAME THING. GOT APPOINTMENT CHANGED TO MID JANUARY 2020, THEY CLAIM COULDN'T VERIFY MY INSURANCE. THEY INSISTED I HAD CO PAYMENTS, WHICH I HAD NONE. APPOINTMENT SET FOR BEGINNING OF FEBRUARY 2020, (SO THEY COULD VERIFY INS), STILL INSISTED I HAD A 5.00 CO-PYMT, WHICH I DON'T THEN CHANGED APPOINTMENT TO MID FEBRUARY, WHICH I WENT TO. 2/12/20, FIRST THEY CALLED DAY BEFORE & TRIED TO CHANGE APPOINTMENT, I REFUSED. WHEN I ARRIVED AT APPOINTMENT A NEW/DIFFERENT HYGIENIST SAID SHE COULDN'T NOT DO A CLEANING AS NO TIME, PLUS INSISTED I MUST COME BACK IN 4 MONTHS. EXPLAINED I'M ON LIMITED INCOME AND THAT ISN'T POSSIBLE, SHE INSISTED & SAID SHE CAN'T CLEAN MY TEETH UNLESS I CAN COME BACK IN 4 MONTHS. PLUS SAID IT WOULD TAKE 2 VISITS TO CLEAN TEETH. If I was able to give zero stars I would I had implants placed by this office and were placed in the wrong place now it will cost $27,000.00 to correct the problem. I have requested from Debbie several times a copy my medical records with signature returned letter so that I will have a copy of those records and to this date I have not received a copy of my records. The State of California allows dentist to do implants with special training save your money and have a oral surgeon or a periodontist complete the surgery. This office has cost me literally $40,000.00 + and now I have problems with eating the Dental board cannot do anything about this because Daniel Lieberman passed away however the office has the same people running this office. Be aware you have the right for a copy of your records do not allow this office to forward your records to the next office. I am very disappointed with the California Dental Board allowing unethical and dishonest practices to exist.

I visited this dental office in late 2017 using Medi-Cal and after an exam, I was told I needed deep cleaning and it would be an additional payment outside of my insurance coverage. The dentist refused to do a regular cleaning and sent me away without any cleaning. My health insurance later called me to verify that I had receive an exam and cleaning because the dentist claimed a cleaning with the health insurance. Complaints for not being professional are being filed, so that this doesn't happen again to anyone else.
