Very bad experience, the first time I saw a dentist, because my teeth were swollen and painful, I went to her clinic, asked me what was going on, and told them that I had a toothache, so I wanted to see a doctor and prescribed some anti-inflammatory painkillers, it might take 5 minutes. Oh well, this will also have a seat for the dentist. As for the X-ray, we don't have time to show you this. The appointments are full next week, next week. If you have a toothache, you'd better go to the emergency room. Don't come here. I understand. This dentist only does cleaning and filling. They don't understand toothache, and they don't make money.

No one likes to go to the dentist, myself included. Joyce however, makes that experience better by communicating each step of a procedure as it's performed and is very receptive to patient comfort. The staff is professional, upbeat, and will remember you each of your visits.

First visit, brought my wife and three kids in for an x ray and cleaning. Excellent customer service from the front desk, assistants and the dentist. They answered all our questions and addressed our concerns, came up with a great plan for everyone.

Probably the best dentist I ever have in my life! Amazing, very professional w lots of dental knowledge!! The staff is wonderful and very polite! Samantha, her dental assistant is very sweet and keep you you calm while the dental treatment. Highly recommend

My first time seeing Dr. Lam was to get my teeth whitened. When I called to make an appt, I was greeted by a very helpful and accommodating receptionist who helped me get an ideal appt that worked with my scheduled. They called the day before to remind and confirmed my time. Once getting to the office, I was again greeted by two front office ladies who were very pleasant. They had me fill out some paper work, then once I was done, they brought me back. I wasn't waiting very long before the hygienist greeted me and explained what they were going to do. I had some build up in which she removed so I would be sure to have the best results possible! When she was done, Dr. Lam came in and greeted me. She explained what she was going to be doing and answered a couple questions I had about after care. During the process, she was very gentle, asked often how I was doing. The process took a while, but was well worth it. I had amazing results and I highly recommend if you are looking to whiten your teeth.

Dr Lam is simply excellent. After numerous experiences with other Dentists that just did not match my expectations, I was introduced to SJ Dental via a family member. I can say with confidence that you are in great hands with Dr Lam. Any dental health roadmap that you are recommended will have your best interests in mind, not your insurance plan. Do not let past experiences prevent you from having better dental health. SJ Dental has helped me push past the general fear and uneasiness associated with "The Dentist" and my quality of life has improved because of it.

Terrible service, I called several times to make an appointment, every time they said they would call back, and never did so. Regarding to the reply, I called last month, and they said would back, but didn't do that. Then I called yesterday again, and they said would call back, but didn't. So I called again today, and they said not accept new patients. But this one is the provider on my insurance. And I called another clinic, they said I can only change the provider until next month. It wasted a lot of my time !!!!!!!

Highly recommend this office. I went everywhere in San Jose to get my teeth fixed. Too many I consulted with were too expensive and I didn't know what to do. Until, I found this place. Dr. Lam and the staff at S.J Dental fixed my teeth and the prices were very affordable. They have a clean office, new equipment and everyone worked quickly. Highly recommended because they will definitely do good work for you and won't cost you an arm and a leg.

They always do a great job and are very friendly!!! They have gone out of their way to accomadate schedules and are very high tech. You get great information and communicate back to you through email, txt, or call. Recommend :-)
