'Jacksonville has been my home for as long as I can remember. I absolutely love practicing here and having the opportunity to work with so many great patients and families. Dr. Crews interest in achieving an ideal profile and harmony for the overall facial features led her to pursue her Masters Degree researching patients perspectives after a combination of orthodontics and orthognathic surgery
Dr. Crews is married to her high school sweetheart, who is also a Jacksonville native. They have three children (Parker, Aubrey, and Reed), who keep them busy in their free time. In addition to spending time with her friends and family, Dr. Crews enjoys playing volleyball, tennis, running, and taking advantage of the Florida weather at the pool and at the beach.

I began working in orthodontics in 2013, I love it because of the impact it has on every patient's life forever and the ability to build lasting relationships. A smile is what we use to show happiness, and being happy is what life is all about!
As a child I always loved a nice smile, I simply love teeth, which of course is why I chose to work in the dental field. I've had braces twice, and there's nothing greater than seeing that brand new smile in the end. Just fills my heart with.....JOY!
I started my career in orthodontics in 1994, and I have been blessed to have such a rewarding job. I enjoy educating our patients on their journey with braces. I love coming to work at Joybecause it is more than just an orthodontic office, its family!
I have worked in Orthodontics since 2015. I really enjoy watching patients develop self- confidence with their smile as their treatment progresses. I love that my job allows me to be a part of making those positive changes.

Everyone on our team understands that your goals in seeking orthodontic care, in addition to your clinical needs, are different from anyone elses. Instead of a cookie-cutter approach to treatment, well spend time talking with you about your goals in considering orthodontia and reviewing the results of your complimentary exam.
Then well create a treatment plan and present it to you, and explain the different steps and options available to develop your new smile. Well encourage you to be part of the decision-making process; this is your smile, after all!
Our practice is equipped with the latest, proven technologies used for diagnostics and treatment processes, which lead to shorter treatment times and strong results for our patients. All the technology in the world cannot replicate the one-on-one care delivered by our doctors and team members, though, because they understand how to combine technology and hands-on experience to create healthy smiles.
Every practice has certain things that set them apart from others. At Joy Orthodontics, Dr. Crews is one of the few board-certified orthodontists in the region, which means she has undergone rigorous testing and examination by the American Board of Orthodontics. Becoming board-certified is a lengthy process and signifies that Dr. Crews is committed to the pursuit of excellence and proficiency in the field.

Wonderful staff and excellent orthodontist. Dr. Crews is friendly and listens to concerns and answers questions. I would recommend this orthodontist if you have children in need of braces.

I LOVE this dentist office! Dr. Lahaise is amazing and her staff are incredibly friendly and wonderful! She never tries to sell you something not needed and if it is needed she doesn't push you to get a service right away! Always on your time!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND BEST DENTIST IN THE AREA!!

Dr. Crews & her staff are wonderful! That is one of the most friendly offices I have ever visited! Everyone that I came in contact with smiled at me! WOW! That is a super plus! Her assistant Peggy was so helpful & kind! Dr. Crews explained what she thought would be best for me to do. If I could give Dr.Crews a 10 star rating, I most definitely would!!!!

We've been with Dr Crews at Joy Orthodontics for about 7 years. She and her team are fantastic! My son was young when he started treatment, and she and the team always made him feel comfortable, explained each step of the visit and overall process, and truly get engaged with their patients.

Joy Orthodontics is amazing. Took my 7.5 year old daughter (at the time) for a second opinion on Phase one braces. Dr. Crews was honest and worked with what I thought was right as a parent (truthfully not wanting my child to have braces twice for cosmetic purposes), but from a professional standpoint! Took the time to explain and suggest next steps! Needless to say, we ended up not needing phase ones and will go back in a year and a half for another assessment! Office is extremely clean, COVID standards in place, staff is welcoming and timely with appointments. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love Joy Orthodontics for my daughter. Thru the pandemic they made sure once they reopened that as a patient my daughter was safe and taken care of. They're flexible with their schedule, the staff at both offices have great customer service and outstanding personalities. They will explain to your child as well as you about anything they're doing or did. I would truly recommend Joy Orthodontics to Anyone for their child(ren).
