Dr. Joy has practiced dentistry since 1984, she received her first dental degree fromYon Sei University in South Korea. She then continued her academic career to achieve her master'sdegree in preventive dentistry and her Ph.D. in forensic dentistry while maintaining her own private practice.
In 2002, Dr. Joy opened the doors to Joy Dental in Fair Lawn, New Jersey with confidence in every aspect ofclinical dentistry. Her practice, thriving and growing, is now a community of over 4,000 strong. It isa warm, family-oriented dental office, and one that always strives to keep ahead of the game with cutting edge technology. To mention a few, the office utilizes digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, single-visit crowns, dental lasers and 3D cone-beam radiographs.
Dr. Joy is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and theBergen Dental Society. She is also a member of American General Dentistry and was awarded Fellowof General Dentistry in 2011 in recognition of her life-long dental education. She actively participates inmany professional seminars and has traveled all over the country, always in search of the newest and best technology. In her spare time, she indulges in oil painting and displays her creations at the office toshare the joy of painting with her patients. Dr. Joy and her team are by far the GREATEST!!! They know how to make you feel comfortable and feel like family!!! My wife has been going to her for years and i'm glad i switched to her. Extremely awesome with kids!!! Our kids are 10 & 14 and they absolutely love Dr. Joy, Dr. Lee and the team!! HUGE HEARTS WITH BEAUTIFUL SMILES!!!!

Great place! The staff is professional, the office clean and modern, and as for scheduling, I have never been kept waiting. I have had a ton of work done and I couldn't be any more pleased with the outcome or the experience! Dr. Lee and the whole staff are just amazing!!

Warm, friendly, responsive, efficient, expert dental care by Dr. Joy, Dr. Lee & brand-new Dr. Gauthier. I have terrible teeth and a history of dental trauma, and my spouse has bad gums, so dentists' offices were always a little dicey for us before now. It really is a pleasure to go to Joy Dental. (Also, Dr. Joy is a truly talented painter, so there's always something beautiful to look at, too!)
