What is a Prosthodontist? Dr. Ace Jovanovski, or Dr. Ace as his patients call him, has been providing exceptional comprehensive prosthodontics in Round Rock for many years. Undeniably, he has an established track record of going above and beyond and has a passion for what he does.
In 2001, he completed not one, but three degrees simultaneously biology, chemistry, and psychology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Even though he learned a lot, he knew that there was so much more that he wanted to learn about. So, he continued to do research in the Dental School, Medical School, and The Cleveland Clinic. Shortly, he applied and was accepted to Dental School. After receiving his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the Case School of Dental Medicine, he was one of only three students chosen for the world-renowned prosthodontics residency at Louisiana State University.
In reality, learning always continues. To illustrate, he also achieved a fellowship award in advanced education from the distinguished International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Presently, Dr. Ace is the only dentist in the world whos received a Master Certificate in Dental Technology (MCDT) from the National Board for Certification in Dental Technology. So long as there is new technology, Dr. Ace continues to learn.
Along with his devotion to excellence in dentistry, Dr. Ace also has other worldly passions. For instance, he loves photography. In addition, he is always cooking something from scratch on the weekends for his family. Furthermore, he is not afraid to get his hands dirty. Especially, in his garden or landscaping. His wife, Dr. Sarah , runs her own practice, Jovan Orthodontics, right next door. Most importantly, they have been blessed with two beautiful daughtersAvah and Aliviah. Indeed, Dr. Ace cherishes spending time as a family in the pool or just playing around together. Similarly, Dr. Ace and Dr. Sarah commit to bettering our community by supporting local area organizations. Undeniably, God is number one in their lives. With this in mind, they are active members in their church.
Crystal has been in the dental field for a long time. Her background is in oral surgery, but she has succeeded in learning ALL aspects of prosthodontics. Crystals fun energy is contagious, not only to her fellow co-workers, but also everyone who visits our office.
She works hard to accommodate our patients scheduling needs and is often the first person to greet you with a smile when you call or visit our office. Crystal not only keeps our schedule flowing, she also keeps our office running smoothly and efficiently, which means better care for our patients.
When Crystal leaves work, she loves to spend time with her family. This starts with quality time with her husband her son. She also enjoys trying new restaurants, shopping and getting together with family and friends.
Did you know that the awesome voice that you heard over the phone is that of a professional voice over artist? Yes, its true, Patricia as been featured on book voice overs as well as radio spots. Her healthcare background gives her the knowledge and experience to be a master at patient care coordination, treatment planning, and maintaining excellent patient relationships. She is great to sit and talk with, and have a good laugh, from time to time.
Besides getting to know and care for each patient, her favorite part about working for Dr. Ace and Jovan Prosthodontics is how the whole team truly gets involved in treating each patient. Its rewarding for Patricia to see the changes each team member makes in transforming their patients smiles.
In her free time, this lady loves to hang out with her friends and traveling the world, with her husband. They also enjoy a fun date night on the town so you might see them out in the area supporting local businesses.
Melanie started working with Dr. Ace in 2010 and loves the challenges of prosthodontics because she knows she is helping people make life-changing transformations. She finds her job rewarding, and that shines through in the personal care and attention she gives to all her patients. Our patients appreciate the kindness they receive when Melanie is assisting in their procedures.
We are very fortunate to have Tiffany here at Jovan Prosthodontics. Her passion for dentistry has been ignited since childhood having worked as an assistant in a dental practice when she was in high school. She went on to become a Dental Laboratory Technician in 1992. With over thirty years of experience, she still has the same passion. Tiffany continues to be dedicated towards state-of-the- art advancements in dental technology and loves working in our very own in-house lab. She dedicates so much time into each patients case to make sure they receive the highest quality dental prosthetic.
Tiffany keeps plenty busy out side of the office too. She and her husband, Chuck, just moved to Taylor where they love to work on vintage cars together. Tiffany enjoys teaching Sunday school and volunteering with her sons Boy Scout Troop. She also is always joking around with her three daughters and tries to see her granddaughter every chance she gets.

I saw Dr. Ace recently and he was awesome. The whole staff was friendly. I told them that I have senior pictures coming up and did the Zoom bleaching with their office. My teeth are so white that even the photographer commented how bright they are. Thank you to Dr. Ace and staff for making the experience so easy.

Dr. Ace and his team are very courteous professionals. They truly make you feel important and treat you accordingly. Especially, Dr. Ace himself is very personal and makes you feel at ease during the treatment. I feel that choosing them was a best decision I made. I think they are better equipped and have better resources for doing such a long and complicated job. I am fully satisfied and happy, and I am looking forward for their post-treatment for my teeth. I was referred to Dr. Ace by my dentist who said my teeth were worn out; cracked, broken, worn, grooves worn in them, and just looked and felt bad. Dr. Ace determined that he could install crowns instead of replacing them with dentures. If you've ever had a crown, you know the process. Try that for all of your teeth half at a time. It's an ordeal. But, Dr. Ace made every effort to keep me comfortable. And, when it was all over, after several months, I had a beautiful set of teeth. Dr. Ace is a wonderful individual, extremely intelligent, and a great family man. All of his staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I felt more as a welcome guest than a patient. I'm so glad I did it.

My mother needed extensive dental work done in the midst of a pandemic and we're so grateful we found Dr. Ace. We probably we could have gone to someone else and pay a little less but we knew the work that she needed requires a true professional who knows exactly what he's taking on and my mind is at ease knowing my mother is under Dr. Ace's care. The team of staff here is also wonderful.

I didn't even know what a prosthodontist was before I found Dr. Ace Jovanovski. I recently had a full mouth restoration created by him and am exceptionally pleased with my new teeth and the entire experience. To give a little background, I have had full mouth dental implants for 35 years. My lower jaw has the original implants with fixed teeth screwed onto them, and my upper jaw has removable teeth that snap onto four implants. Over the years I have had implants fail due to bone loss and teeth wearing down after use - both situations requiring new teeth. Replacing the teeth involved so many doctors - surgeon, dentist, and then a lab technician and so much time! What I didn't know is a prosthodontist has very advanced training and is qualified to do it all. Recently I was in need of new teeth and as I was searching for an experienced doctor who could handle my complex dental situation, I got a referral for Dr. Ace Jovanovski near Austin. Even though I live in the Houston area, I thought the three-hour drive would be worth it if the final results were teeth that would align to function properly and look good. Boy, did I hit the jackpot with Dr. Jovanovski! After my consultation, I knew I had found the right doctor, and I now have the best fitting and looking teeth of my entire life. Not only is Dr. Ace an expert in his field, but he is a hard-working artist and a perfectionist. He delivered my teeth on my third visit, and because he is also a lab technician, was able to fine tune the fit that same day until it is absolutely perfect! I couldn't be happier! Dr. Ace's dedication, knowledge, expertise, and attention to detail were beyond compare. My case required customization since my implant studs in my upper jaw are not perfectly aligned, but he worked until it was a perfect fit. My teeth have never felt this good! Dr. Jovanovski is a positive, joyful person, and his attitude resonates throughout his practice. His front office staff is very friendly and welcoming, and his experienced assistants have been with him for many years and work so well together. They made me feel comfortable and very well taken care of. What a great team! Because I consider myself a "professional dental patient" after spending many, many hours in the chair, I know I have found the best of the best in Dr. Jovanovski and am confident that he has the experience and skills to handle any dental situation presented to him. I am so grateful to have found him and am enjoying my beautiful, new smile! Thank you, Dr. Ace! You are truly a blessing and an answer to my prayers.

Dr. Ace is the best! I brought my daughter to see Dr. Ace after her braces were removed for gum contouring and bonding to build up some small teeth. He and his caring staff put her right at ease and did a beautiful job! She is so happy with her new smile!

I had a wonderful experience with doctor Ace. I had a consult with him when I was looking for solutions after I finished my orthodontic work and he took all the time in the world to explain all available choices to me without regard to which one he would gain more or less profit. That showed honesty and made me trust him. The day my work was to be completed, the day before Thanksgiving, he was professional, caring , and took his time. Dr Ace put me at ease in no time. The end result was just beautiful, very natural, and accomplished the goal of building up the weardown on my top front teeth. I Highly recommend this practice.

Chipped a tooth and got the quick service that was needed to get my smile back up to par. The whole staff is super friendly, extremely helpful and make you feel comfortable, which is a lot to say when you go anywhere to have dental work done. Dr. Ace was quick yet precise with his work and it looks better than it did before. Always made sure there was no pain. I will be returning to them with any other work that I need done! 5 stars!

My teenage son just had extensive work with Dr. Ace Jovan (post braces), repairing a chipped tooth, white spot removal, and bonding several top teeth. We are satisfied with the results. Dr. Ace Jovan coordinated work for my son's teeth with his pediatric dentist and the orthodontist (the other Dr. Jovan).
