I received my doctor of dental surgery from Northwestern University School of Dentistry. I was licensed in 15 Northeastern states and scored over 90% of all subjects in the National Board of Dental Examinations. However, California is my home and that's where I want to be. I returned to California where I passed the California State Board and was licensed to practice dentistry in the state of California. I bought my first dental practice in San Francisco, and my second practice in San Bruno. At the age of 30, I began my previous practice in Sunnyvale. lt was a new experience and I honed my skill not only as a dental practitioner but also as a practice manager, developing a new practice from the beginning. lt was a successful practice which I started with 5 operatories and later expanded to six. I continued to work there for over 30 years.
Through the years, I had an insatiable appetite for learning new and innovative techniques. I was a weekend student for years, learning orthodontics and dental implants in order to be a better practitioner. I have completed hundreds of orthodontic cases and over a thousand dental implants. I have enhanced the oral health of over 10,000 patients in my 30 years of dental practice. I am a firm believer in preventive dentistry. I feel that excellent oral health begins with self-motivation and the general public needs to be aware of good oral hygiene. I had developed a dental practice that had 4 full days of dental hygiene. I enjoy doing dentistry knowing that I have provided many with great oral health. For the knowledge that I have acquired through the years, I feel that I can be of great service to my patients and to educate and motivate them for better oral health.
Dr. Xia graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in the year 2000. He had his post-graduate training in orthodontics from Beijing University, receiving his PHD education in orthodontics. Dr. Xia has over 12 years of dental/orthodontic training and education. He is well experienced in orthodontic treatment for children and adults. He provides sound advice and practical options needed to maintain and restore optimal oral health and a beautiful smile.

Had an initial wonderful experience with Dr.Huang,who came highly recommended from friends. Excellent pairs of hands, knowledgeable ,thorough. Would recommend him without any reservations

A friend of my wife recommended Dr. Huang to me 30 years ago. I have been seeing Dr. Huang since then. Dr. Huang is very patient and explains all the procedures very clearly. I never feel the pressure of doing any procedure that is not necessary. The hygienist at his office is also very caring and always provides new suggestions on what I can do to improve my oral hygiene. On more than one occasion, early detection of tooth decays helps to preserve my teeth.

Dr. Huang is the only dentist that I will ever trust with my health needs. Before I met Dr. Huang, I was going to another dentist who was trying to sell me on some expensive procedure that my insurance plan would not have covered. I went to Dr. Huang to seek a second opinion, and he said that I did not need such a procedure, opting for a treatment plan that was less invasive and covered within my insurance. From that experience, I realized Dr. Huang truly did what was best for my health. It's rare to have that type of integrity in the dental field, but Dr. Huang truly does. Not to mention, Dr. Huang is just an all-around great dental practitioner. I took my mom to see him because she had to do very complicated root canal surgery. The other dentist that my mother had been seeing would have done the surgery at nearly $1000 more than Dr. Huang charged. Dr. Huang performed the root canal on my mom to great success and at an extremely affordable price. I can't thank Dr. Huang enough for putting my family's dental health needs above all other considerations. Amazing dentist. Seriously, the only dentist that I will ever go to!

I had a last minute appointment with Dr. Joseph Huang. The reception was friendly, the office was well equipped, and Dr. Huang did a great job of fixing my problem.

I went there for a dental cleaning package. The service should be included the cleaning, X-ray and exam. They took the X-ray of my teeth. But never told me any info of my teeth, like how is my cavity? X-ray is for checking the healthiness of the teeth right? Why taking it if you are not gonna do it? (Just so you did the process ? ) Doctor Huang did the teeth cleaning for me, but that was way too fast compare my last time with another dentist. Maybe just half of the time. He didnot check my gums neither like my last dentist did. ( like those exams usually include in teeth cleaning) This is should be my first time and last time too. I don't recommend this place because didnot feel like they were really responsible. The stuff was nice.
