My name is Joe Bousaba and I am committed to providing my patients with the highest level of dental care and service. One of my goals as a dentist is to utilize technology to educate and empower my patients to allow them to make the best decisions regarding their oral health. I am a self proclaimed dental nerd and I love learning about dental materials, techniques, and the ever evolving landscape of technologic applications in dentistry.
I am a native North Carolinian and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following four amazing years in Chapel Hill, I moved to Boston where I completed my dental training at Boston University. I then completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Following residency my wife and I moved to Denver, Colorado where we lived for nearly five years. We loved exploring the Rocky Mountains and all of Colorados beautiful landscape, but eventually recognized the difficulties of being far from our families on the East Coast.
We moved to Richmond in 2018 and we are very thankful to be a part of the Richmond community. I enjoy nature and the outdoors especially running and hiking through the James River Park System. My wife and I also love exploring the ever growing culinary scene in Richmond.
Our dental practice is small and intimate. This is intentional and I believe this is a stronger way to create and foster meaningful relationships with our patients. I look forward to getting to know you and helping improve and maintain your dental health through high quality dental care.
Shelley is a Richmond native who has always wanted to be a dental hygienist. She continued her family legacy at West Virginia University where she attended dental hygiene school. When she is not cheering on the Mountaineers, you can find her spending time with family and friends, playing piano, or trying out local restaurants. She loves to travel and is almost always planning a weekend getaway.
Lynn is a native of Pennsylvania where she attended the Barbizon School and played 2nd chair violin in the Harrisburg Youth Symphony. Her interest in fashion & design led her to Virginia Intermont College where she received her undergraduate degree. An accomplished management professional, Lynn left the world of retail in 1994 to join Dr. Crockett and now Dr. Bousaba.
Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Katie graduated from the University of Mary Washington and has been a dental assistant since 2014. She especially loves assisting in dental surgeries and believes every day is a new opportunity to ensure our patients are happy, comfortable, and receive the best level of care. Katie has a love for sailing and spends many weekends sailboat racing on the Chesapeake Bay. When not on the water, Katies passion for food keeps her busy cooking in the kitchen or checking out Richmonds newest restaurants.
Jessica was born and raised in Virginia Beach. She has both front office and clinical experience as she worked as a front office team member for seven years and has transitioned into working as a dental assitant within our office. She moved to Richmond with her husband, Bobby, in 2014. She has a Wheaten Terrier named Annie who is her most prized possession.
Cayla was born and raised in Morganton, North Carolina. She attended North Carolina State University for a degree in Business Finance and worked in finance for nearly 10 years. In 2015 Cayla made the decision to follow her passion and returned to school to complete a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
Carter is a golden retriever and a certified therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. She enjoys running on the beach, swimming, and rolling around in snow. You will typically find Carter lounging on her bed, but also loves to say hello by bringing her toys to visitors and shaking their hands.
