I thoroughly and passionately enjoy what I do. I feel incredibly grateful to work with so many unique and special people every day. I have a great sense of joy when an adult or adolescent patient tells me how much I have helped them.
While I help people, I feel I get so much more in return. As I view letters of appreciation and thanks from patients, or hear how I have transformed someones personal or work life, it is hard to describe the feelings of satisfaction and happiness that I feel. When I hear a young person say how much they appreciate some of the things we do in the community and say they want to be like me in the future, it is both humbling and gratifying.
I became an orthodontist out of a desire to help people and make a positive, lasting difference in their lives. In my early days as a general dentist, I was happy when I could relieve someones pain. It was incredibly satisfying.
My personal and professional goals are the same: always to evolve and constantly learn, so I can make treatment better and easier for my patients. Each year I exceed the New York State requirements for continuing education.
Keeping up to date allows me to bring the latest technology, techniques, and scientific information to my office to make care more comfortable, convenient, and easyfor my patients. We always want to be on the forefront of science and technology to provide exceptional care, just as we would do for our own family. We are never complacent and strive to be the very best at what we do.
As our scheduling coordinator, I will be one of the first people to welcome patients to a warm, friendlyexperience at our office and accommodate everyones busy schedule. My main goal is to have everyone leave our office knowing they are now part of the Catania Orthodontics family! I have made some wonderful, lasting friendships through the years and truly enjoy helping people leave with a smile.
I am Dr. Catanias dental hygienist. I assist him with the placement, adjustment, and removal of our patients orthodontic appliances. I love to see a patient transition into a more confident, happy person because of a new, beautiful smile. I pride myself on perfectionism and give my very best, both in and out of the office.
In addition to Catania Orthodontics, I also work with Syracuse University Athletics Go Orange! I enjoy the outdoors but can just as easily stay at home and binge television. To me, enrichment in life is measured in the numbers of people you connect with, love, and care for.
I have the privilege of welcoming new patients and families to our practice. As a treatment coordinator, I help guide patients through their initial visits, discuss their individual treatment plan, and assist with financial and insurance processing. I have enjoyed working with Dr. Catania since 1989 and am proud to be a part of his orthodontic family. Patients actually look forward to coming to our office because we make having treatment so much fun! Dr. Catania relates well to each patient, whether a child, teen, or adult, and it is very gratifying to see the benefits of orthodontics and know that I contributed to the result.
I completed the OCM BOCES program for dental assisting in 2018, and graduated at the top of my class. I assist Dr. Catania by taking patient records, sterilizing equipment, changing arch wires, and informing patients about orthodontics and home care. The best part of my job is seeing a smile on patients faces, especially for those who were previously embarrassed by their teeth. We are not only an orthodontic practice; we are like family! I really look up to Dr. Catania and our team, and can always count on them for help if needed.
At home, I have a cat named Delilah that I rescued when she was a baby. In my spare time, I volunteer and donate to local pet rescues. Some hobbies I enjoy are hiking, kayaking, fishing, gardening, ice skating, and target shooting.

I have had the most amazing experience at Catania Orthodontics. The staff is so welcoming, nice, and helpful, they go above and beyond to make sure you get the best experience while in and out of the office. I had an Invisalign treatment and I am so impressed and happy with my results. I would definitely recommend going to Catania if you are looking for quality care and results!!

I cannot not say enough about this office and the people that work in it. They are professional, competent, personable, caring and so kind. It was this way when I came here at 14 years old and now at 36 nothing has changed. They are THE place to go if you want quality orthodontic care!

Dr. Catania and his staff provide excellent care. They are patient, attentive, and kind. Deciding to invest in aligners was a big decision, but one that I'm very happy I made. I have the results I wanted and could not have asked for a better practice to work with.

When I was getting braces I was really nervous they kept on telling me it would not hurt and they were true. When you get braces it can be scary and they helped me feel better.When you get braces you get this cool app. I am always on it. You can get gift cards for Amazon and so much more. It made me feel more better than more people have braces to. This is a great place to send your kid too. I highly recommend it.

We are so thankful for Dr Catania!! We could not be happier with the end results of his work! Both of my children recently had their braces off and their teeth look perfect! My son had a complex congenital problem for which Dr Catania was not only knowledgeable about but a true expert! He is meticulous and his work is impeccable! The entire staff is friendly, kind and treats you like family! Kim and Midge are the best and their work is also amazing! Leah is so sweet and accommodating too!! This practice is top notch in every way and that is hard to come by these days! We 100% recommend Dr Catania and we are forever thankful!

I've had a wonderful experience with Catania Orthodontics! I had braces years ago and recently had SureSmile aligners to improve my teeth after many years later of not wearing my retainer- the staff has stayed the same and they are so welcoming and caring! I am so happy with my teeth!!

Dr Cantania's office is very pleasant and they go above and being to accommodate their patients. I remember a holiday weekend my son was having discomfort and I called the emergency number. Someone on the team met me at the office and fixed him right up. I will forever be grateful for the experience. They truly are a great team! This is our second child to have braces with Cantania Orthodontics and we wouldn't change anything. My sons both have beautiful smiles. Thank you!
