Wouldnt let this man floss my teeth for all horrible dental work this man has put me through. Last time I got a cleaning they used a man whom was doing an on the job interview. Guy had no idea what he was doing. It was shameful and a waste of my money. The biggest complaint was dds Sawyer put a crown on a root canal it didnt fit perfectly so he said he will fix free of charge. 2 days later tooth broke and he said sorry that's your fault. Also didnt tell me to not eat anything hard. All I did was eat some chewy candy. He goes only 5 grand to fix. No thanks. Hes the worst go find someone else. A lot of dentist in the area

I am so upset today to have Mercury put in my body without my permission!!! I was adamant from the first appointment I had with Dr. Sawyer, that I did not want metals in my teeth. HE DID IT ANYWAY, and then after the fact, I was asked to sign the consent on the way out the door. The dental assistant said he had to because the cavity was deep. NON CONSENT IS NON CONSENT. This should not have to happen. The teeth are windows to a persons overall health. A powerful predicator of health. Norway and Sweden have banned the use of mercury fillings. It is toxic to our body and can cause neurological issues, autoimmune disease, chronic illnesses and mental disorders!! UGH. Later I will have to pay mega bucks to have the filling removed. Staff is nice. Dr. Sawyer is nice. That doesn't excuse the malpractice.

I have a long history with dental work, but this is my first visit with Dr. Sawyer. I needed a wisdom tooth extracted, and I must say this gent does his job well. He is quiet and calming, and he knows what he is doing, and he does not waste time. I appreciated it!

Worst dentist I've ever been to. 2 of my fillings fell out in under 6 months. After the 1st one fell out, he said he'd fix it later, I was already there and no longer live close. Wasn't the first time he put me on the back burner, either. He sounds like he can work wonders when he speaks, I reality he didn't back up his work. Plus made it out like it was my fault. Never going back.

Dr. Sawyer always makes sure you are comfortable during any procedure. He talks to you and not at you. He gives you all the options for what needs to be done.

My wife and i were told they were a pediatric dentist then ridiculed for bringing in more than one child in on a visit when they were the ones who schedueled the appointments. Then we had a last minute cancelation, and the dentist dr sawyer was rude to my wife who had to get an mri for serious health issues and he was still determined to convince her to reschedule her mri and come in to his office instead. If there was a negative star this office would have recieved it. We are never going back.

I am very lucky to have met Dr. Sawyer when I was suffering extreme mouth pain. My neighbor, one of his loyal patients called his office to ask him to see me. He and Chelsea stayed after hours to help me. That requires extreme compassion & professionalism. I recommend this great dentist to everyone!

By far the best I've been too. I've never had the Doctor call the same day after a procedure to make sure that I'm doing okay. The staff is amazing, kind, and friendly.

Transphobia and unsound, presumptuous medical advice. Dr. Sawyer seemed to be very uncomfortable and confused about having a trans client. He asked me about my testosterone prescription and I told him that it was hormone replacement therapy and that it was plain testosterone. As he was examining my gums he told me I was bleeding a lot and asked me when I was going to stop taking hormone therapy. I was rather appalled and told him it was up to me when to stop. He told me that the testosterone was contributing to my gingivitis. I asked if men are at greater risk and he said he didn't know. He essentially encouraged me to stop taking hormones without having any medical reason to do so. So one thing, you cannot as a dentist advise a trans patient to stop transitioning. You know nothing about them. For another thing, I did a quick google search and *women* are more at risk to gingivitis, "More female hormones (estrogen and progesterone) cause more blood to flow to your gums, which causes them to become more sensitive and "overreact" to anything that may irritate them". A search for hormones and gingivitis seems to pull up articles exclusively about estrogen contributing to it. I'm at less of a risk of gum bleeding when I'm taking testosterone versus if I had a predominantly estrogen-based chemistry. I also had a hysterectomy 3 weeks ago, which I had told him. My body doesn't produce its own sex hormones anymore so I will either be on some form of supplemental hormone or no hormones. If I do not replace testosterone with estrogen I'm at a risk of developing osteoporosis. Brittle weak bones doesn't seem good for dental health, Dr. Sawyer. Don't make weird assumptions about hormones, medication, or the health of trans people just because we scare you. You are a doctor and this is irresponsible and bigoted.

Went in for a routine cleaning and check up. First impression was positive--friendly staff, cozy and attractive office. Didn't care for the x-ray process as it was the most painful I've experienced. The cleaning itself seemed abbreviated, not as thorough as I've experienced elsewhere, but adequate. Dr. Sawyer found cavities, including one under a crown which had to be removed. He did an excellent job with that--the new crown fits much better than the old one and he took the time to make sure it fit well so I could floss around it. He also showed genuine care with a free follow up visit and a couple of phone calls to make sure I was doing ok. I'd recommend Dr. Sawyer.

Once work was done it was like an upsell, always trying to find more ways to cost me $$$. Very poor communication about billing. Once I went to another dentist hubby and I had to have work redone.
