He currently is Chair, Academy of General Dentistry Dental Practice Council, Chair of the American Association of Dental Boards East Caucus, a Commissioner on the American Dental Association National Commission on Dental Specialty Recognition, and Certifying Boards, a member of the ADA workgroup on Elder Care and NJ State Board of Dentistry representative to Commission on Dental Competency Assessments House of Delegates. He is a past chair of the AGD Legislative and Government Affairs Council, Chair, AGD Dental Practice Council, a member of the NJ State Board of Dentistry and President, NJ Academy of General Dentistry. He holds a MS in Biochemistry from FDU School of Dentistry and a DMD from UMDNJ inducted as an alumni member in OKU. He completed a General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center and has received fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Dentistry International, the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists. Prior to entering dentistry, Dr. Battaglia was a research biologist at Merck & Co.

Dr Battaglia, Lilian and his entire staff is like family. We've been patients for over thirty years. I went with my parents. Now I go with my children. We trust them completely! Highly recommend to anyone/any age.

One of the best dentists around ! Not only did I work for Dr Battaglia 15 years ago, but I still continue to go to him for all my dental needs. Wouldn't go to anyone else . Says alot about Dr Battaglia. It's hard not to love him but most of all I trust him. He's a perfectionist. He's the best! If you're looking for a general dentist in the Wayne area or Passaic County for that matter, go see him he's great with cosmetic dentistry ! He's also a participating provider with Delta Dental of NJ!
