Dr. Jose Bandala graduated from dental school in 1983 from UOC. He then went on to serve for a year in a Dental Community Clinic in Mexico where he helped people with different dental needs. At the end of his year of service, he completed an extensive 2 year Prosthodontic residency program in CIERO Mexico City. This spurred him on to pursue his degree in Prosthodontics sponsored by Dr. Sumiya Hobo from IDA in Tokyo, Japan, where he graduated in 1987.
Traveling the world to teach and attain a vaster amount of knowledge was rewarding to say the least, but there came a time to settle down. Dr. Bandala moved to Rocklin, California in 1996 with his wife, Dr. Rosy Bandala, and their first-born baby. He practiced in several restorative and prosthetic offices in the Sacramento area until he could establish his own private practice in Roseville, CA in 1998. He enjoys practicing Comprehensive General Dentistry and has special clinical interest in Cosmetic, Surgery and Implant Dentistry. He has also received several awards, including the Fellowship to IDA, and is a former Ethics and Peer Review committee member for the SDDS.
Dr. Bandala loves music You might even call him a music man. He plays guitar, the harmonica, sings and composes! It is not uncommon to find him in his free time enjoying a jam session with his wife and two beautiful daughters, who take after their father, and sing along with him.

Wonderful visit for my annual cleaning and check up. Everyone is so nice! I love the staff here! They calm me, even for emergency treatment!

Very caring doctor and a informs patient throughout. Always comfortable. Have been going to Dr.Bandala for 26 years. He is great at what he does and extemely knowledgeable. Staff is also excellent. He can treat anything and I have the utmost trust and respect for Dr. Bandala. Also great new addition to the team is the hygienist, Kyoko, who is very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.

Dr. Bandala is an excellent dentist. He took the time to explain every procedure he was doing. He is really professional, knowledgeable and very caring. His staffs are also great, not only the assistants, Treycee the very friendly, professional and very helpful manager and the exceptional hygienist KyoKo. I have been his patient for more than 15 years and highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bandala's for about 8 years now. He is absolutely the best dentist out there. I recommend him to everyone at my workplace (since we all have the same dental insurance) and everyone comes back saying he was the best! Every little dental related thing I have had to do over the years has been thoroughly explained to me. I literally feel like I am treated like family. They just hired a new hygienist (Kyoto) who is an absolute gem. I truly could not recommend anyone more highly.

Dr. Bandala is by far the best dentist that I've ever been to. His dental assistants are top notch. He performed oral surgery on me and I can't even tell where it was done it was that good. He's extremely knowledgeable and I have complete trust in his ability as a dentist. I highly recommend him

This is my first time with the new hygienist, Kyoto. She is very good at what she does and friendly. I really appreciate her work ethic.....keeping me entertained while cleaning my teeth. Genius!! I have been a patient of Dr. Bandala for over 30 years and my teeth are in great shape because of his diagnostic skill and precision dental work. Dr. Bandala seems to be up on the latest dental technology and uses them. He is very conscientious to your pain and tries very hard to keep pain at a minimum. His staff is very friendly and capable.

(Edited December 2021) I just had him do three crowns and he did a great job! Plus I want to give a shout out to all the staff. Esi and Gigi are great dental assistants, and Treycee at the front desk is very nice and helpful. I just want to say that my teeth feel great! (2019) I am very happy to have switched my dental care to Dr. Jose Bandala. Everyone in the office is excellent, and Dr. Bandala's expertise is superb. He is a friendly AND thorough dentist you can trust!

Dr. Bandala is the BEST dentist I've ever been seen by! I've only had one appointment, so far, but him and his entire staff made it a very pleasant experience. If you have dental anxiety (as I do) I think you will be pleased. By some of the other comments it seems he has lots of long time patients, Had I discovered him sooner, I would have been one also!
