What I love about what I do: Since working at EVIP from the first day we opened our doors in 2003, I have had the opportunity to work with so many different types of patients and personalities. The best part of my job is being able to not only see patients leave with a smile, but also return with one.
Originally from Peoa, Utah, Dr. Todd Jorgenson received his bachelor's degree in Science from Utah State University . He later attended dental school at Oregon Health Sciences University . Dr. Todd Jorgenson then attended Oklahoma University Health Science Center where he received his Master of Science in Periodontics.
In addition, Dr. Todd Jorgenson is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology , the Arizona Dental Association , and the Academy of Osseointegration . Dr. Todd Jorgenson also founded the East Valley Dental Symposium, which strives to educate and train dentists on the newest and best Dental Implants and periodontal techniques available.
Dr. Todd Jorgenson and his team are trained in all of the latest periodontal procedures as well as the latest technology in dental implants, cosmetic periodontal procedures and laser therapy. Whether your needs are to replace missing teeth, retain a loose denture, or improve your periodontal aesthetics and health, Dr. Todd Jorgenson and his staff provide the highest level of care.
Dr. Capps then completed an intensive three-year surgical residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics , where he earned a specialty certificate of advanced education in periodontics. He went on to achieve the status of Diplomate with the American Board of Periodontology, which is the highest recognition of achievement awarded by the specialty. Dr. Capps has a unique enthusiasm for his work, and is known for his empathetic approach to patient care.
As Arizona natives, Dr. Capps, his wife, and four children love the desert and are happy to be surrounded by their families in the East Valley. He was a professional pianist before dental school and still loves to play in his spare time. Dr. Capps loves camping and fishing with his kids, enjoys classic rock trivia, and is proud of his reign as ping-pong champion of the UNLV dental school. He has a dynamic, engaging personality and is excited to meet patients and help them achieve their goals.

I had dental implant years back with Dr. Jorgenson which resulted in a severe infection of my jaw, my gums and bone loss thruought the bottom front section of my jaw. I saw him several times as a result of the tissue loss which continued to expose my bone and implant to which his office only performed repeated tissue grafts and never looked into the cause. Thankfully, I was finally referred to a different dentist and periodontist who took an X-Ray and discovered my bone loss as a result of the improperly placed implant. I spent 8 years, repeated bone grafting surgeries, so much pain, and thousands of dollars to fix this doctor and this office's mistake.

I've been going to Dr. J for years and have had 10 implants, which have had no problems. He and his staff are sensitive, kind and very professional. I never have to wait more than 5 mins in waiting room prior to appointments and the overall feeling is confidence and openness. Office is very clean & pleasant. I had a few other implants prior to seeing Dr Jorgenson but they did not come close to making my experience exceptional. I highly recommend East Valley Periodontist & Dr Jorgenson!

Do you want your orthodontist not to prescribe you antibiotics because he thinks your Macrobid for UTI is enough which in return gets your bone graft infected? Do you want your orthodontist to tell you "oh yeah I should've given you that amoxicillin in the first place"? Do you want to be told it's normal for a bunch of your bone graft to come out of the site even though it's the second month? Do you want to be told the smell you're smelling in your mouth similar to when it got infected is your own personal issue? Do you want to your bone graft to be assessed by just staring at it and not thoroughly checking it? Do you want to be told let's wait after 6 months and see even tho you need help NOW? Then this is the right clinic for you. All the staff starting from calling the front desk are no help. They kept questioning me and telling me if I'm really sure if I think there's something wrong. I'm a registered nurse and know when there is an infection and need help and to be just treated like I'm a crazy person is not okay. I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. Please don't go here. I am currently being treated by my regular dentist who knows how to efficiently assess and treat and listen to their patient. The graft is not healing right and still coming out now and then. I'm not a hard patient at all and only want my bone graft to heal properly. It really doesn't take that much to be a caring professional. Don't waste your time here.

Great staff from front door in. Had an extraction and implant that went very smooth and pretty much painless. Dr. J and staff are wonderful! Recommended!

There are no words to describe the miraculous work of East Valley Implants. The wonderful staff treat the customers as though there are friends from the past. The treatment and thoughtful care was beyond believe as they truly cared as a true human being rather than a source of income. Dr. Todd Jorgenson was an angel in disguise with his genital charm and his charisma. The craft of the East Valley treatment center is exquisite and is no doubt a dream and a lack of imperfection. This is definitely the place to come if you're are looking for marvelous implants, believe me this place will change your life for the better. -Sandy Green
