Dr. Chris Keefe earned his undergraduate degree while studying biology at the University of Utah and obtained his degree in dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University. There he received an award for outstanding performance in pathology diagnosis and also served as a member of the admissions committee for incoming student applicants. After receiving his dental degree, Dr. Keefe continued his education by serving for a year at the Veterans Administration in Martinez, California. There he gained valuable experience in the complexities of diagnosing and treating patients.

His dedication to the advancements and new technologies of dentistry has continued over the past 15 years, and he has received certifications for state of the art restorative techniques. You can watch as Dr. Keefe designs your ceramic crowns or onlays on a computer right before your eyes. Dr. Keefe is fully trained in both oral and IV sedation techniques.

Dr. Keefe is a member of the Utah Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association and is constantly continuing his education through additional courses. He is proud to have built a practice that is both conservative and family friendly where his team is committed to creating a relaxing environment that is comforting to even the most apprehensive patients.

He is happily married to his wife, DeAnn, and they have four beautiful children Jessica, Elizabeth, Katie, and Stephanie. His hobbies are water and snow skiing, golfing, and spending time with his family. He and his wife have enjoyed raising their children in South Jordan.

Dr. Daniel Harris is a native of the South Jordan area and is excited to have joined the premier dental group in the state of Utah. He graduated from Bingham High School in 1993, married his lifelong friend Heather 5 years later in 1998 and has since been blessed to have a sweet little girl.

After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Utah, Dr. Harris moved his family to Kentucky where he was privileged to obtain his dental education at the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry. With a rich heritage in dental education and long standing reputation for clinical excellence, the University of Louisville School of Dentistry was a perfect fit for Dr. Harris who graduated with honors and received the prestigious Merit Award given to the student that shows distinction in prosthodontics.

He is dedicated to providing the best care to his patients and works hard with his team to provide a comfortable and caring environment that puts even the most apprehensive patient at ease. He has helped build a family oriented practice that takes care of the needs of adults and children alike. He also recognizes that many patients have busy schedules and have a difficult time taking care of their dental needs during a normal work day. For that reason he provides many evening and weekend hours.

Outside of Jordan River Dental, Dr. Harris volunteers his time and talents providing dental care for the underserved. He enjoys fly fishing, backpacking in the High Uintahs, and most importantly spending time with his family.

He chose to attend the University of Louisville School of Dentistry based on its reputation as one of the best clinical schools in the nation. While there, Dr. John served as the president of his class and was awarded the prestigious Centennial Award by his classmates and faculty as the student who best exemplified leadership and professionalism. He has been practicing at Jordan River Dental since his graduation in 1998.

Dr. John loves being a dentist and although the majority of his time is taken with work and family he still is able to find time to enjoy his hobbies of swimming, biking and running. He has completed several marathons and has finished 3 Ironman Distance Triathlons, including the prestigious Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
