Dr. Tyler Owens grew up in St. George, Utah. Upon receiving his bachelors degree in Biology from Brigham Young University, he attended the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Dr. Owens participated in multiple mission trips to underserved areas of the world, where he discovered his passion for pediatric dental care. Treating children during these trips led him to complete his residency and training at NYU Lutheran Pediatrics.
Dr. Owens and his wife, Kristen, have four children: Ryan, Ryder, Olivia, and Charlotte. When he is not in the office, Dr. Owens loves outdoor activities, learning new things and spending time with his family.
A board-certified pediatric dentist, like Dr. Owens, has gone through a rigorous examination process with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Only dentists that have completed a residency in pediatric dentistry can sit for the board certification examinations. Board certification tests the knowledge and problem-solving abilities of a pediatric dentist.
Dr. Rosenberg has been a pediatric dentist in Joplin since graduating from the University of Missouri Dental School in Kansas City. His internship and pediatric residency were completed at Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City as well. He began his private pediatric practice in the Medical Arts Building before building his permanent office at 2602 Picher in 1972.
Shelli is the office manager and has been with Dr. Rosenberg since August 1985. When asked what she enjoys doing in her spare time Shelli always answers; spending time with Jax, McLaren, and Dallas (her grandson, grand-daughter, and daughter), cats (Libby, Lucy, BC, & Dewey), and doing nothing!
Sue has been an assistant for Dr. Rosenberg for nearly 30 years. Our Queen of assisting is married to (her King) Tony. They enjoy living in the country. Tony is a musician and they travel to local boot-scootin events most week-ends. Their dogs, Speck and Dollar enjoy the trips to McDonalds!
Rachel has been one of our assistants since 2000. Rachel assists not only in the offices but at the hospital with Dr. Rosenberg as well. Rachel is a child charmer; the patients will do anything for her! Rachel and her husband Jon have three girls, Ella, Aubrey, and Ansley. They are very active with church, dance, and ballgames.
