As a Gainesville native, Dr. Nerikar graduated from the University of Florida in 1994 and the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1998. Prior to studying at Florida, he attended Littlewood Elementary, Westwood Middle, and Buchholz High School. Dr. Nerikar has been practicing for over 18 years. After dental school, Dr. Nerikar completed a general dental residency at Shands Hospital. He was a part-time clinical instructor from 1999 to 2002. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Nerikar has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. At Jonesville Family Dentistry we love our patients.
Dr. Gil Brodach graduated from prestigious Bronx High School of Science in New York. He then attended the University of Florida receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. In 1986 he received the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Brodach has practiced exclusively since that time in North Central Florida and has been a Gainesville resident for his entire adult life. He is a member of the Central District Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and American Dental Association and provides all aspects of general dentistry focusing on cosmetic and restorative treatment and emphasizing a conserative, preventive philosophy. Children, teens and young adult patients are warmly welcomed by Dr. Brodach as he has taught and volunteered at Gainesville High School. As Volunteer of the Year at Gainesville High School, he has assisted virtually all athletic teams at GHS and has been 'The Voice of The Canes' since 1982. Dr. Brodach is excited to be joining Dr. Nerikar and the staff at Jonesville Family Dentistry to continue providing caring and personalized dental care.

Nate was awesome with my cleaning and X-rays and the Dentist was super nice and knowledgeable. Had a great experience. Highly recommend.

A little back story, I didn't exactly have the most consistent dental care in my childhood/youth, and didn't get a proper tutoring of how to brush & floss until I was in my 20's. I've made my best effort to undo the damage, but in my opinion it's a very deep hole; enter dental insurance & Jonesville (whom my son has been seeing for the last decade). At my consultation Dr.Narikar was very understanding & sympathetic to my history and even helped discover that perhaps some of my aggressive tooth decay may have been triggered by an antibiotic I took as a teen for acne (so, not all my fault). Fast forward a couple of months to a tooth extraction, and of the now 7 I've had in the last 15 years, I've got to say it was almost pleasant! They do this trick with the air hose and they explained the other sensations I was feeling which really helped my mind compartmentalize them as something other than pain that needed to be numbed.

Fabulous! We finally found the perfect family dentist in North Central Florida. As a new patient, the office staff was great assisting us in transferring records and scheduling appointments. Dr. Nerikar was awesome examining and explaining our daughters teeth and treatment plan. The hygiene did an excellent job. Absolutely fabulous!!!!

Needed an emergency extraction. Dr. Who was pulling my tooth was pleasant and efficient. He made my pain less painful. I will go back to their office for my dental needs.

WOW! This morning was my 1st visit with Jonesville Family Dentistry & it won't be my last! Because of my wonderful experience, this office deserves a long appreciated review! Word of mouth means a lot to me! My family & I had to find another Dentist due to change of insurance. A couple of months ago, I had cervical spine surgery & now have to be on an antibiotic 1 hour prior to any dental work for a year. I called the Pharmacy last night to see if the Rx was ready since I hadn't received a text yet. They said they couldn't find it. Since it was after hours, I decided to call the Dentist emergency # on the recording. My appt was at 7:45am this morning, so I knew I had to have it. Dr. Nerikar answered & immediately called the Pharmacy. He then text me to let me know he talked to the Pharmacist & I could go pick it up. He was very apologetic & pleasant to talk to. I had great x-rays & a thorough cleaning this morning by Crystal. Two of my crowns popped off a few months ago within weeks of each other, but I could put them back on & eat cautiously. We're thinking it may have been from stress grinding my teeth while I sleep, which I definitely do! Dr. Nerikar was short staffed today due to an employee family death & asked if I could come back tomorrow morning to cement them back on. I was perfectly fine with that, but he suddenly decided to just do it right then. They cemented on perfectly, with no problems at all! The front desk staff was so kind & helped me utilize my insurance to the fullest for the remaining of this year & next year due to work I know I need done to my teeth. Dr. Nerikar didn't just tell me everything I needed done, but showed me on the the X-rays & pictures Crystal took. I was also able to schedule my husband & 2 children for cleanings this year also. I'm VERY pleased with this Dentist & office staff!! The office is beautiful & very clean as well! So excited to find another Dentist so quickly & be this happy with my choice! We had been going to the same Dentist for 20+ years & this was a perfect change for us! Thank you Jonesville Family Dentistry!!!!

Highly recommend ! I had a difficult time reaching my dentist for a after hours emergency. My friend told me to call Dr V because she was so happy with his office. Even though I was not his patient he called me back and helped me my dental emergency. I will be their patient for a lifetime.

I had another emergency with a tooth, left a message was called pior to them opening and was given an appointment that day. I can't say enough about this practice, a solid five star. I had an emergency and this office was recommended by two people. I called and had an appt. that afternoon. The front office staff, the staff and Dr. Nerikar were great.

My first visit was exceptional, but my return visit was a nightmare. I called to request an antibiotic prescription as a tooth that needed to come out had gotten infected. Dr. Nerakar refused until the next day, which left me 24hrs without treatment. During my procedure he said I had been rude to his staff and he was "doing me a favor" by seeing me for the extraction. My "rude" behavior included not taking "no" for an answer, and asking to speak to the Dr. when his receptionist stated, "I'm not a doctor, I can't write prescriptions." I then asked to speak to the doctor, and was told he would call me back "at his convenience." He never did. Because medication was withheld, I had a virulent infection at the site during the procedure, and it was extremely painful and traumatic. Will be looking for a new dentist.
