Dr. Erik Hill was born and raised in nearby Grants Pass, OR and is excited to be back in the Rogue Valley. He graduated from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2017 where he received extensive training in all areas of dentistry. Dr. Hill came to dentistry later than most as he pursued his dream of playing professional golf upon graduating from the University of California, Davis. After a few years of ups and downs on the golf course, he decided to retire the clubs and turn his focus to dentistry.
When hes not working, Dr. Hill enjoys spending time with his family and friends. With the recent birth of their first child, he and his wife now enjoy many outdoor activities with daughter-in-tow including golfing, fishing, hiking, and traveling. Volunteering his dental services to those who are less fortunate or have limited access to care is also an important aspect of his career. He has worked with the Indian Health Service in Montana, and in rural communities of Jamaica and looks forward to serving his local community of Ashland.

The hygienist left my mouth bleeding and sore for a week after digging to clean behind a molar. Today my second cap fell out that Dr.Jones put in. He did alot of work on my teeth, I didn't feel it was all necessary. Now he's moved on and my new dentist gets to do cleanup.

I probably sound completely mad, but this is the first dentist office in my life that I can honestly say i LOOK FORWARD to going to my appointment. Even for my root canal! Dr. Jones and his team are exceptional. My FOUR year old sees Dr. Jones too and had a lot of fun at his first appointment. I have no higher praise to give.

I went in for a consultation for Invisaligners because my regular dentist doesn't do them. While I learned that I am not eligible for the treatment, Dr. Jones spent a long time in consult talking about my best options forward. I was so impressed with his care, explanations, and the time he took to walk me through the reasons why I need the treatments he was suggesting that I am going to switch to Dr. Jones for my future dental needs. His staff is equally kind and caring, which for me is a big piece of my dental care.

I've posted many reviews in support of Jones Family Dental which is tops in their category for the services I received. My recent visit was no exception, but this time I believe that their COVID-19 protocol deserves special mention. They asked me to pause at the entry so that other patients and staff could move with proper distancing. Someone took my temperature (a wrist IR sensor, which is quick), then zoosh, they walked me to my chair. Everything was discussed beforehand (and during) and I felt safe and in good hands.

The new ventilation system, careful cleaning and personnel PPE were all well considered and provided good protection for patients and staff guarding against COVID. Thank you for taking such careful precautions. As always, the staff are kind, skilled and professional.

I came here 8 years ago for a cleaning. Everything was fine except the fees and misinformation. I paid above the amount my insurance would cover. I since had multiple cleanings at a competitor and never had to pay a penny above what my insurance paid. They told me I needed a crown and after 8 years, I haven't had a single other dentist mention this. They are a rip off in every way possible.

I called in a bit panicked about a cavity that was flaring up. I already had an appointment at another dentist, but this was the only place open on a Friday. They calmly listened to my symptoms and walked me through how to take care of the problem, and that my case wasn't an emergency and I could wait for a normal visit. I really appreciate the time they gave me even though I'm not a patient! They really do care about helping people.

Such a great office. I was thrilled with everyone from the front desk to the dentist. The use of technology to improve my experience was fantastic. I loved the giant monitor that displayed my teeth so I could clearly see what was going on. I really felt like Dr. Jones listened to me and went out of his way to make me more comfortable. I would 100% recommend this dentist to my friends!

I brought my 20 month old for her first dental visit and it was AMAZING!!! Dr. Jones isn't a preferred provider with our insurance, but I'd heard such good things about his pediatric dentistry skills that I was happy to pay out of pocket...although it turns out the first visit is free! They call it a "happy visit" and it totally lived up to its name. Everyone was so patient and kind. Dr. Jones was excellent with my daughter and the appointment went off without a hitch! I highly recommend Jones Family Dental!

Our family loves Dr. Jones and their entire staff. They are so great with my 8 year old, which is what made all the difference. We can't wait for our son to get to see them when he is old enough

My favorite dentist so far. Yesterday was the third time I was able to get in to take care of an emergency over the last few years. I cracked a tooth and they were able to get me in right away to have it taken care of. The entire staff is knowledgeable, professional and eager to answer any questions while at the same time light hearted and fun. They really put me at ease and made what is usually a stressful situation, a pleasant experience. They are also willing to work with you on payment plans and offer several options. Great place, great people, modern state of the art equipment.
