Dr. David Jones was born and raised in Martinsville, Virginia. After graduating from Hampden-Sydney College, receiving his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia, and completing his Orthodontic education at MCV, he returned to Martinsville to set up his own orthodontic practice in his hometown. He has enjoyed providing orthodontic care to thousands of families in the Martinsville-Henry County area and continues to love creating beautiful smiles in our community.
Dr. Jones is very active in his church, the Martinsville community, and many dental and orthodontic study clubs and associations. He stays up to date by continuing his education, so that he can provide the best and most efficient orthodontic treatment to his patients.
Dr. Jones is also very involved with conservation efforts in the Martinsville and Henry County. For the past decade, he has combined his passion for education, conservation and the Smith River by establishing the Trout in the Classroom program in more than 30 elementary and middle schools in the region.
Dr. Jones is the son of the late Dr. George Louis Jones, a respected and admired family practice physician in the Martinsville community for over 30 years, who was also an alumnus of MCV. Dr. Jones wife, Karen Jones, is also from Martinsville and has always been very involved in the local community. They have two children, both of whom followed in their fathers footsteps. Their son, David, completed his dental and orthodontic education at MCV/VCU and is practicing orthodontics in Roanoke and Rocky Mount, Virginia. Their daughter, Lauren, is currently enjoying her first year of dental school at MCV/VCU.
We will examine your teeth and get an idea of your overall dental health during your first visit. We can take photos and x-rays right in our Danville office, then talk about potential treatment options and payment plans.

Friendly staff with fast services. My son always goes back when it's actually time for his appointment. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients.

I love this place they are so nice and careful when taking care of your teeth!! They make your teeth look so good and it doesnt really involve pain because they are so careful. I definitely reccomend you coming here if you need braces so you can experience what I did for yourself!!

I love going to Dr. Jones and Dr. Deshon, they are both very polite and professional. The office works with your budget, I don't know what that Linda lady down there is talking about but my teeth were horrible and they are getting straight so fast, and it all depends on how you take care of your braces, to determine how long you keep your braces on.

I'm not going into details, other than my daughter dreads going to her appointment...she has basically given up on even wanting her teeth straight....she just wants the braces off so she doesn't have to go to any more appointments...she doesn't mind the braces...just the appointments. Also, this office does not offer reminder phone calls, texts, or emails. I have experience with Dr offices, dentist offices, surgeons, specialists, etc...that I never miss appointments for because they give me reminders...this office does not...it's the only appointment I ever forget about!

I love this orthodontist. Doc Jones and doc Deshon are great, they make you feel %100 comfortable from the start and the staff is super friendly. I have been seeing them for a couple years now bec my children and I all use this orthodontist. One of the things I really appreciate is that doc Jones will go above and beyond to accommodate my work schedule and explains everything that he is doing so I stay in the loop. Also during the covid 19 situation you can tell that they are taking it very serious and they are doing everything they can to keep ppl safe. I would definitely recommend they are good ppl with a great staff and you can tell the employees are happy to work there.

Although this is a very polite orthodontist office and they go out of their way to be kind and help those in need they caused my treatment to take a lot longer than normal upon moving to a bigger city with a better orthodontist. Their techniques are outdated and not used in allot of newer places, they did not handle my situation properly causing me to be in braces and even have more problems while being under the care of a more capable orthodontist given the situation I was placed in with my specific care. Overpriced. You can receive better care going anywhere else.i was in fact a patient there I go by a different name on google for my account. They paid no mind to my exact treatment plan that was discussed initially. They do their best to ignore problems and probably only responded the way they do to my post to differ the negative comments which I will not stand for. I wasn't treated correctly here and i stayed here during the duration of my treatment who knows how my teeth would have looked. They rely on the fact that people do not want to drive far out of town for treatment to rope everyone in regardless of their situation with their teeth. They might be good at a minor teeth straightening for others. I'm unsure. But for my particular situation they screwed me over in braces for an extra year in a better orthodontist. At less the cost as well and highly more recommended in a bigger town. Please look at all options before coming here. They're just mad that someone spoke up truthfully about what happened here. I will add photos when I can of what my orthodontist has now had to do and proof I was a patient here. In the near future upon completion of treatment.
