Dr. Fidel Del Toro and Dr. Jonathon Kimes specialize in Enhancing Smiles for a Successful Future. Using the latest in orthodontic technology, including the Damon System braces, Clear aligners like Invisalign or Spark, and digital impressions, we create an individualized treatment approach for each patient to help them achieve a beautiful healthy smile.
Dr. Del Toro is a Board-Certified Orthodontist with a true passion for practicing orthodontics, improving smiles, and sharing his knowledge and experience with others. His story begins at the University of Texas where he earned an undergraduate degree in 1987. He then attended Dental School at UTHSCSA in San Antonio, Texas where he graduated in 1991. In 1996, Dr. Del Toro completed his Orthodontic Residency and Ph.D. program at the University of North Carolina.
Today, Dr. Del Toro is proud of his 25 years of experience transforming the smiles and lives of his patients. He is also proud of 22 years of teaching Orthodontics as a part-time Assistant Professor at the Department of Orthodontics at UTHSCSA Dental School. He enjoys playing an active role in the education of future Orthodontists.
Dr. Kimes is a Board-Certified Orthodontist with a passion for meeting people and creating lasting smiles and lasting friendships with his patients. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2004 with an undergraduate degree in Physics. This may be an odd degree choice for an orthodontist but it has contributed to Dr. Kimes unique treatment style. After graduating from the University of Arkansas, Dr. Kimes enrolled in Dental School at Baylor College of Dentistry where he graduated in 2007. He then completed his Orthodontic Residency at the University of Texas Health Center in San Antonio in 2010.
When Dr. Kimes and Dr. Del Toro met and discussed their treatment philosophies, they knew they had to work together. Their conviction to provide personalized orthodontic care that goes deeper than standard orthodontic practices was the basis for their partnership. Dr. Del Toro invited Dr. Kimes to join his practice and the rest is history.
