Clarissa was born and raised in Del Rio, TX. Clarissa started working for Dr. Jon Oefinger in 2010 as a Registered Dental Assistant. Assisting Dr. Oefinger was a great experience but deep down she felt like she had one more goal to achieve the role of dental hygienist. With the encouragement from the entire staff, Clarissa applied to hygiene school and was accepted. She graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, receiving her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2013. In 2014, she returned to her dental home with us and is now the Lead Dental Hygienist. She is dedicated to the practice and to all our special patients. Clarissa is a major asset to our team with her warm personality and professional chairside manner. Our patients love her and she makes them feel right at ease.
When Clarissa is not at our office, she is working at the VA Dental Clinic, devoting her time to our nations veterans. Clarissa also does volunteer work at Dentistry from the Heart. She is a firm believer in giving back for all her many blessings.
Hello there! My name is Andrea . I have been a dental hygienist for about 6 years now and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I have been working with Dr. Oefinger and Associates since August of 2016 to provide individualized patient centered care. Nothing brings me more pride than getting to build relationships and rapport with patients and seeing them continue to reach their oral health goals.
In my spare time, you can find me hanging out at coffee shops, spending time with my church community, exercising and volunteering with Young Life Capernaum which is a ministry for kids with special needs.
Jessica relocated from California she has worked in the dental field for over 19 years. She is happily married to her husband James and they have 5 children together Dominic, Marissa, Isaac Wyatt and Peyton, She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family. Along with her administrative skills, she is well versed in insurance. Her main goal is to ensure that each and every patient receives the highest quality care.
Daniel is a native of San Antonio and has been a part of Oefinger Dental & Associates since April 2017. Daniel builds relationships, and walks through treatment planning to ensure he fulfills patients dental care. In his free time he spends it with his husband Steven and their daughter, Serenity. He enjoys traveling and the company of his family and friends.
As the son of an orthodontist, Dr. Oefinger grew up in San Antonio and attended Clark High School. After graduating from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, he graduated Cum Laude from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, previously ranked as the number one dental school in the nation. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Oefinger completed 1 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residencyat Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. This program provided additional training in comprehensive dentistry, and afforded him the opportunity to treat more complex cases. Dr. Oefinger has been practicing in San Antonio for10 years and has been in his current location for8 years. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Oefinger has kept up to date on current technology and advancements in the field through continuing education classes and study groups. He continually updates his practice with the latest technology, ensuring that his patients receive the most comfortable, comprehensive, and advanced dental care.
Dr. Oefinger lives in San Antonio with his wife Amy and three children Elizabeth, Jake, and Caroline. When not practicing dentistry he enjoys spending time with his family, running, and volunteering his time for various charitable dental organizations.
Dr. Kevin Clark was born and raised in San Antonio where he attended Clark High School. He later attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School where he graduated in 2015. He is the first dentist in his family and has been practicing dentistry here in his hometown for the last three years. Dr. Clark is married to Faith Elizabeth Clark and they recently had a beautiful daughter named Haley.
Dr. Clark is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the San Antonio District Dental Society. He is among the most accomplished and regarded general dentists in San Antonio and South Texas and strives to provide his patients with the most comfortable, state of the art dental care.
In his spare time, you can find Dr. Clark spending time in his backyard with his dogs and his family. The most precious things to him are his wife Faith and their two lovely daughters. He loves to read, bike, and workout. He also loves his Spurs and going on hikes.
