Dr. Hardinger earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. He continues as an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Practicing dentistry in North Iowa since 1979 has given me a unique perspective on solving common dental problems. Seeing many dental products come and go over the years helps me to choose those that will be safe, predictable and effective for your particular need. After every dental examination, we will discuss your concerns, and my recommendations, for your oral health. We can then review available treatment options. I aim to keep you informed about maintaining your teeth and gums with proper hygiene methods at every periodic checkup.
During the dental procedure, we either talk your way through the procedure, or if you would rather, just listen to ear buds with your smart phone. All of our exam rooms include large picture windows facing a beautiful and calming landscape. We also offer brand name methods of delivering Nitrous Oxide which is a mild sedative and anti anxiety agent. This helps the time pass quickly. All of this is in view of our motto, Your comfort is our concern.
It is gratifying to have seen many successful dental outcomes over the years. Reflecting on these accomplishments, I cant help but acknowledge the important part that satisfied patients have in referring their friends and family to our office. It is our goal to help everyone enjoy good dental health.

I've seen Jon for about eight years and have had a lot of extractions and fillings. I have never had procedures where there was so little pain involved. He's an excellent practitioner and his staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable.

Since I was a child, I have had extreme anxiety about dental visits, that is until Dr. Hardinger! He is so great, I no longer give it a second thought about appointments! Besides curing my anxiety, he is personable, professional and has my best interests in mind as he advises! I hope he never retires, though he surely will deserve it! Never thought I would ever say, "I love my dentist"!

I love that they check my lymph nodes and give me glasses to shield from any water spray. Dr. Hardinger and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I very much recommend them.

You won't find a dentist more knowledgeable than Dr. Hardinger! He keeps up to date with modern dental care and is always upgrading his equipment. The care I receive for my teeth is incredible and I have been very happy.

Been a patient for over 30 yrs. & have never had any issues. During the corona pandemic, I was unable to reschedule my appointment as there weren't any openings for a few months, but I guess that comes with having to reduce the # of patients that can be in the office at one time & to allow for cleaning between.
