Known as CBCT, this advanced imaging technique uses a cone-shaped X-ray beam. The cone beam rotates around your head to create a highly detailed 3D image of your mouth to help us accurately design your treatment plan.
Dr. Jon Byrd is a native of the Triad, having grown up in the High Point Thomasville area and graduating from Ledford Senior High School. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for his undergraduate studies before receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Byrd believes in patient-centered dental care, in which his patients will be able to make informed decisions concerning their oral health.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Byrd enjoys spending time with his family, going to his childrens sporting events, hunting, and playing golf. Dr. Byrd resides in the High Point area with his wife and children.
Dr. Preston Ford grew up in the Jamestown/High Point area where his family moved when he was 4 years old. He grew up involved in many activities including soccer, baseball, and church groups and graduated from High Point Christian Academy in 2010. He completed his undergraduate studies at theUniversity of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he played on the soccer team and received Bachelors Degrees in Chemistry and Business Administration. Dr. Ford continued his studies at theUniversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
Dr. Ford is currently working on his Associate Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is a graduate of the Washington, D.C./Mid-Atlantic MaxiCourse, the Implant Pathway in Phoenix, AZ, and is currently enrolled in the Puerto Rico MaxiCourse where he travels for 5 days out of each month to advance his surgical techniques and become IV sedation certified.
He is excited to offer our patients dental implants to replace missing teeth, so almost all of your dental treatment can be done in one place. He loves forming relationships with patients and partnering with you to achieve your dental health goals.
Dr. Ford is an active member at Kings Cross Church in Greensboro and loves to spend time serving with his church family. He loves spending time with his daughter, Raelyn, and their red lab, Rosie. His hobbies include hunting, biking, traveling, and reading particularly studying the Bible.
Dr. Evan Moore has been proud to call the Old North State his home for the last 11 years and is excited to serve the High Point community. Dr. Moore earned his B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Spanish from Grove City College. Following his undergraduate, he moved to North Carolina to teach elementary school in Halifax County, NC through Teach for America. However, after two years of teaching, Dr. Moore decided to pursue a career in dentistry and completed two years of prerequisite courses at UNCG where he and his wife Kalie fell in love with the Triad.
Dr. Moore earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry. He is an active member in the ADA, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is very passionate about cosmetic and implant dentistry and, with a commitment to quality continuing education, Dr. Moore is at the forefront of dental care and technology and is dedicated to providing all available treatment options to his patients.
When Dr. Moore isnt caring for patients, you can most likely find him spending time with his wife Kalie and four rambunctious children, Ezekiel, Violet, Alistair, and Margot. He loves reading, playing guitar, photography, traveling, and anything that can get him outside, whether it is hunting, backpacking, or a hike with his little ones. He and Kalie also are very active in their local church and are licensed foster parents. Dr. Moore is excited about becoming a part of this vibrant community and providing your whole family dental care for years to come.
