Dr. Henry (Hank) Jolly Jr. is a Gaffney native whose love for dentistry began during childhood visits to his family dentist. He grew up knowing he wanted to work in the medical field and chose the dentistry path while he was a college sophomore.

Dr. Jolly earned a bachelors degree in biology in 1990 from the University of South Carolina. After graduating, he worked in the South Carolina Senate while attempting to get into dental school. That day eventually came, and Dr. Jolly earned his dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1996.

Dr. Jolly is active in the community and enjoys opportunities to give back to causes and organizations. He is a member and past president of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce and has participated on boards of directors for a variety of nonprofit organizations. Hes a former member of the Board of Visitors at University of South Carolina, and serves on the executive committee for the Gamecock Club. Dr. Jolly also is a former board of trustees member for Limestone College, where he served as vice chairman of the board.

Her road to becoming a dentist began as a dental hygienist after graduating with her bachelors degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1983. During the 10 years she spent as a hygienist, she worked alongside the dentist and watched what he did. She saw herself being able to do it, too.

This Fort Mill native returned to MUSC to earn her dental degree in 1993. After graduating, Dr. Bedell went on to complete a one-year general practice residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she gained a great deal of dental and medical experience. The residency provided opportunities to work alongside medical residents on the hospital floor. She found that the experience benefitted her by increasing her knowledge of medical conditions, and improved her ability to identify potential conditions in her dental patients.

She taught for two years in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at MUSC before she and Dr. Jolly came to Gaffney. Drs. Bedell and Jolly worked in separate private practices for several years before combining their offices in 2003.

Dr. Bedell is the first female dentist to serve on the South Carolina State Board of Dentistry. This 2000-2006 term was fulfilling in helping keep the board on its task of protecting the public in the state of South Carolina. She has been a member of the Southern Regional Testing Agency since 2000, and she participates in examining dental students for the requirement of licensure. She most recently served president of the agencys Board of Directors. She enjoys working with her future peers in making this time in their career less stressful.

Dr. Bedell and Dr. Jolly met while in dental school and married in 1994. They have two sons, as well as four pets: three dogs and a cat. When she isnt working, Dr. Bedell enjoys traveling, working in her yard, and cheering on the Gamecocks at sporting events. She also is a Limestone College athletics fan. She and her family attend Limestone Presbyterian Church.

Sheila has been a member of our staff since November 2017. She takes X-rays and impressions, and she assists our dentists chairside during a variety of treatments. Our patients are the favorite part of this self-described people persons daily routine. She loves helping others.

She and her husband Bruce have a son and a daughter. They also have a Yorkshire terrior-poodle mix named Brittany. When Sheila isnt in the office, shes likely to be driving her daughter to clogging classes, or shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Tammy has enjoyed the day-to-day interaction with our patients and the opportunity to help others since she joined our practice in January 1998. She assists our dentists with chairside treatments and takes X-rays.

Tammy has an associates degree in radiology technology from Cleveland Community College in Shelby, North Carolina that she earned in 1981. She also earned a dental assisting degree in 1984 from Spartanburg Community College.

Beth joined our team in June 2003. She earned an associates degree in health science from York Technical College in Rock Hill in 1998. She became certified to monitor nitrous oxide anesthesia in 1999, and earned her certification to administer infiltration anesthesia in 2011. Beth also maintains her CPR certification.

She and her husband Stephen have been married since August 2003, and they have two children: Lindsey and Andrew. They also are pet lovers who own two cats, Yoshi and Rosie, and two toy poodles named Ranger and Rollo.

In her spare time, Beth enjoys working with the childrens group at her church. Her hobbies include hiking and spending time with her family. Beths favorite South Carolina vacation spot is North Myrtle Beach.

She and her husband Bryson have been married since May 1999, and they have one daughter. Karens spare time activities include spending lots of time with her daughter, whether its shopping or watching her play soccer. She also is active in her church. Karens favorite South Carolina vacation spot is Myrtle Beach.

Tammy loves making people smile and helping our patients feel good about themselves. She joined us in October 2001. Her duties include taking X-rays, assisting the dentists with restorative procedures, polishing, and applying fluoride to teeth. She particularly enjoys doing crowns and bridges.

When she isnt working, Tammy can be found watching her daughter play volleyball, or involved in activities at her church. She also enjoys baking, cooking and driving her daughter to different activities. Her favorite vacation spot in South Carolina is any beach she can visit.

April has been a dedicated member of our team since May 2001. When she isnt handling front office reception and administration duties, she can be found assisting our dentists. One of her favorite aspects of her job is meeting new families and patients.

April has a daughter, and their family pet is a Yorkshire Terrier. Her spare time activities include spending time with her daughter, reading, and enjoying the outdoors. Her favorite South Carolina vacation spot is the beach.
