Dr. Blankenship is an Orthodontist who has practiced Dentistry for over 21 years. The quality and compassionate care you have come to expect from him and the office remains the central focus of the practice. We treat all types of orthodontic complexities using braces and Invisalign. Dr. Blankenship has trained in a full Invisalign Fellowship and can take care of you and your childrens needs.

Dr. Blankenship along with his wife April and daughters McKenna and Gionna have moved to Palm Coast. He has three other children who have graduated and moved along in life. He attended The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Microbiology, and continued to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, so he is definitely a Buckeye fan at heart! He completed his orthodontic training at the Georgia School of Orthodontics. Dr. Blankenship is also a retired officer (Commander) in the US Navy having served 25 years of active and reserve duty. He served in roles as a dentist and in leadership as a clinic director.

Dr. Blankenship has been active in the dental community since his professional start. He has earned several fellowships and accolades in dentistry. In 2019, he published an article on his newly developed technique using mini-screws and rapid palatal expansion and in 2021 he published an article involving caries prevalence associated with the use of Invisalign. Previously as a general dentist, his experience also included teaching about Sleep Apnea and Dentistry, as well as CAD/CAM dentistry. He was a highly advanced general dentist with over 2000 hours of continuing education. With his experience and professionalism, Dr. Blankenship can appropriately coordinate care with your general dentist and any other specialist involved. His main focus in the practice is the professional care and success of his patients.

After growing up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in the Pennsylvania Dutch country, Ive lived in Flagler County since 1999. My wife Jill and I have seven children, some of whom are now adults and some still live at home with us.

When Im not working, being with my family, including our Australian Shepherd, Mocha, is my priority. We have a cattle farm and I enjoy various projects associated with that. I also like fishing and hunting.

I meet with new patients and families, explain the orthodontic process, and assist with the initial exam. I also review treatment andfinancial options, including insurance, and answer everyones questions. In addition, I trouble-shoot insurance matters, handle accounts payable and receivable, and oversee day-to-day operations within the business office. Ive worked with Dr. Johnson and our team since 1999. We are supportive and caring of each other and our patients!

Im a Florida native, born and raised in Flagler County. My husband and I have been married more than 35 years and have two grown children and fourgrandchildren. When Im not spoiling them, I enjoy the beach, fishing, and being with extended family.

I am a chairside assistant: I workalongside Dr. Johnson on a range of orthodontic procedures. While helping him, Im also talking with our patient and making sure theyre comfortable in the chair. I started in the field in 1989 and joined Johnson Orthodontics in 2003. Dr. Johnson is a kind and giving doctor who encourages us to be positive and uplifting.

I grew up in Michigan and moved to Florida in 1990. I love the Florida weather! When I am not working, I like traveling and lots of outdoor activities, like bicycling and fishing. I especially enjoy the beach!

Before I became an employee, my daughter was a patient here. The atmosphere at Johnson Orthodontics is truly unmatched and I was very excited when an opportunity arose for me to join this wonderful team. I started my dental career as a dental assistant in 1990. After graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy, I worked as a dental hygienist until moving to Florida in 2005.
