As the son of a school teacher and a dental hygienist, Dr. Jonathan Johnson has always been interested in the dental field. He graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
After that, he completed his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Johnson fell in love with orthodontics and went on to complete an orthodontic residency at Temple University.
Dr. Johnson relocated from Philadelphia and opened Johnson Orthodontics in 2010. After a visit to Rehoboth Beach in 2009, he and his wife fell in love with the slower lifestyle of Sussex County. They knew it was the right place to open a practice and raise their family.
In 2017, Dr. Johnson was invited to join the prestigious Schulman Study Group, an organization of prominent orthodontists whose practices rank in the top 1% in North America. Members support and advise each other in their pursuit of the most progressive and innovative treatments.

I was born and raised right here in Delaware. My family and I are grateful to live within such a great community AND have amazing beaches around the corner! I love what I do and find that the most rewarding part of my job is helping create both beautiful AND healthy smiles.
Hi, there! Im Grace, Im new to the team, and Ive been working in ortho since the beginning of 2022. My boyfriend and I moved to Delaware from Washington state in 2021. We have two dogs named Tucker and Pepper. Im currently enrolled in the dental assisting program at Del Tech and hope to eventually become a dental hygienist.
