I needed retreatment on an old root canal where the endodontist drilled through the existing crown and when I left the crown was in good condition and would last for years to come. Dr Johnson overfilled the crown when she did the permanent fill, and the crown was crumbling apart just hours later. The new crown Dr Johnson made is hardly what I would describe as a crown and more of a stump. It's completely flat. But all that aside, when she was fitting the new crown she said she was going to drill down a different tooth to make the crown fit better. She did a test drill and I said that was painful. She said it's "superficial" pain. She then proceeded to drill away while I was literally slapping my legs out of pain. Not even a year later I'm getting the crown redone elsewhere because it's a bad fit and my gums are irritated. I can't believe I spent money on this garbage. ETA: the live tooth she drilled down also needs a crown now.

I am shocked and appalled that a dentist office would send a patient a bill in the mail for a faulty door knob that some how locked after my daughter and grandson used the restroom at this office. The most unprofessional thing I have ever heard of!! I can no longer support this establishment. I will be finding a new reputable dentist office in the area. Four patients lost over a $360.00 invoice for a lock smith. I HOPE IT WAS WORTH IT!!

Never delr with more unprofessional individuals in my life. My 4 year old and I used their restroom before our appointment, and I noticed the door knob seemed stuck, so I jiggled it a few times to make sure it wasn't locked. Turns out the door was locked. Me and a receptionist tried getting it unlocked.. we both heard her pop the lock like it was unlocked multiple times but it wasn't unlocking and clearly broken. couple weeks later they mailed me THE WORK ORDER INVOICE for lock and key and expected me to pay for the door being unlocked. Never did they call to ask me what happened, just blamed me and my son for their broken door knob. Unreal to think your dentist would make you pay for something like that. I called a few times asking to speak to Joanne about it, she wouldn't even speak to me about it or ever asked me what happened. Never going back.

When I emailed in writing asking for my x-rays and scan, I strongly believe they cropped, my old x-rays I sent them from my previous dentist, and send them back to me. I don't get it, I was un-happy with them, I want to go elsewhere, and they play games with you. All x-rays taken at any dentist office has the date and year on the bottom of pictures, except them! I compared what I sent them from my previous dentist, and what they sent me back. SAME exact x-rays with the date and year cropped out from my previous dentist! (Who mind you didn't have a problem giving me what was paid for)They were paid, but just wanted to make things difficult, it's sad, give me what was paid for and move on, I am. I also, read someone else's review stating the same thing, they refuse to give you your x-rays, and state they don't send the "scan" of your teeth! Why not, it's mine, and it's paid for? They claim "The Scan" is theirs and I didn't pay for it, it's for in house only! Shame. I wasn't happy with her work, 2 fillings in 14-15 minutes, and 4 days later it fell out. YES, did she fix it, BUT, I would not trust her to do my Crown, I could only imagine that would fall out too. Another, review states the same thing. It might be a great place to get your teethed cleaned, but other than that, I don't recommend!

I used to take my family here. They sent me in for a biopsy which that specialist said was not necessary. Then they did a crown on my wife who had to come back 3 times before finally getting it done right at another dentist. Needless to say we will never return! We were eventually given a refund but the check bounced, then they sent another check and that check bounced the 3rd check finally cleared.

Update: Even MORE impressed as time goes on. Melinda is a fantastic hygienist.....very happy we found this practice. Original post: We've been fortunate to be patients of some great dentists over the years, but this practice is absolutely fantastic in all ways. Dr. Johnson is highly skilled, as are her staff members. They are well trained to start with, and seem to be always well versed in new approaches and the science that connects dental care with overall good health. The admin staff can navigate just about any insurance or appt complexities. It is also an excellent choice if you're someone who has had bad experiences in the past and as a result are frightened of the dentist. These people are kind and calm. It feels like a workplace where they WANT to be, and their senses of humor and great energy make it an experience that is wholly positive. We are very grateful for this practice.

First off, Joanne isn't always the kindest. Second of all, I've had 3 PERMANENT crowns fall out. She clams her 25+ years of business it shouldn't happen...my new dentist says it should fall out if at all until 20 years later. I have eaten nothing sticky or hard for this to happen. Stir far away

I moved out from California recently and needed to find a new dentist. I was having some issues with my two front upper teeth. My dentist in CA had placed some veneers on this teeth for aesthetic reasons, but they neither felt right nor looked good. My first meeting with Dr. Johnson was amazing as she took the time to really understand my concerns and gave me the confidence to move forward with new crowns. She assured me that the new crowns would look amazing. Well she could not have been more correct. Not only did they look amazing, but they actually looked and felt like my original teeth. I was blown away. The entire staff made me feel comfortable and special during the entire process.

After having the same dentist for 30+ years, I found Dr. Johnson. I needed to fix one of my teeth and she was very reassuring. She referred me to an awesome specialist and then we finished up the remainder of the work in her office. She was very kind to me the entire time. Heidi was great. Very positive and reassuring as well. After my tooth was fixed, I had my teeth cleaned by Melinda. She did a great job! I was very happy with my experience and booked my next cleaning with her. The ladies who run the desk are also very kind. Each one of them I interacted with made sure I got through the process easily and with support. I'm very glad I found Dr. Johnson's practice and would definitely refer others here. Thanks!

I've been seeing Dr. Johnson for close to 20 years since her early days in a small office in Manchester. She has always treated me with fairness and professionalism. She always takes the time to explain the processes and treatment to you in simple terms. She doesn't push any unnecessary products or procedures. Her and her staff always greet you with a warm hello and will take the time to answer any questions you have about dental, billing or scheduling issues. I highly recommend.
