Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

New patient here...and I have a phobia of getting dental work done. I scheduled an appointment to get my annual cleaning and to my surprise I ended up need an crown. The process for both were amazing. Staff was professional, friendly and courteous. I totally recommend this office for services. The dentist himself was knowledgeable, efficient and kind. I'm glad I found this place. Dr. C you rock!

Dr. Patel and staff , Definitely will put you at ease about any procedures you need to have done. They will work within your insurance and budget amounts. Appointments are spaced so you are not waiting long to be seen.Questions are welcomed and answered in easily understandable terminology. Comfortable environment overall. I highly recommend this office.

This was my very first time and I had a great experience. The staff were super friendly and took care of all my concerns. They were extremely thorough and I left with a good dental plan. They have state of the art equipment and the office was nice and clean. Dr Chyan was fantastic!

My experience at Johnson Ferry Dentistry was wonderful in every way. In fact, it could not have been better. Dr Patel was very professional and caring. This carried down to the other team members who treated me, Kristen and Kelley Weber. All were great! It truly matters to them that they are providing the best possible care. I had to have 2 root canals and ended up moving to a different state after treatment plan was initiated. Everyone at Johnson Ferry Dentistry made everything so smooth, and they were extremely patient with me while I was anxious.... I would recommend them to anyone in the Atlanta area that needs dental work

Great office and excellent staff - I had started going to JFD back in 2015ish but had to leave the state due to family health problems. Once I could move back to Marietta, I IMMEDIATELY reached out to JFD to get a dental cleaning setup. My dental cleaning was on 08/29, and it was so good seeing Dr. Patel again. She remembered me, and we picked as no time had passed. If you're looking for a GREAT dentist and staff, I highly recommend this office!!!

This used to be a really fantastic dental practice. Don't know what changed but the last time I was here it was a total mess. Came for an 11am appointment by 10:40, filled out paperwork and sat in the lobby until 11:20, back in the room until 11:35 just waiting, got an xray around 11:45 and sat in the room until noon. I had told them several times I had a work call I had to be on and had to leave by a certain time; and by noon that was it so I just picked up and walked out. All I needed was a crown cemented back on. Most of my visit was just cooling my heels! And when I walked out there was no one at the front desk! I was going to tell them I had to leave but I couldn't. So I left and on the way home I was sure someone would call to ask what happened... it's been about two weeks and I guess they think I'm still sitting in that room. I called later the same day to talk to the practice manager and whoever took her messages asked if this was about a complaint. She hasn't called me back either. I really don't know what happened. This used to be a great practice right near work for me.

I was terrified of the dentist for years to the point where my teeth were so bad I didn't smile. DR Patel and her team made me feel so at ease and give me somthing I never thought I'd have back, my smile. Highly recommend for anyone nervous about going to the dentist

Dr. Patel is incredible provider. Very personable and caring. She didn't want me to be waiting any longer than I had to so since both of the hygienist working that day were busy so she got started on my cleaning. The fact that she even thought about how long I was there and my experience shows how she goes above and beyond. Everyone in the office was kind and personable. Really great experience.

Everyone is always so friendly & accommodating! The office is clean. They do great work! I had a dental emergency with my 10 year old and even he had great things to say! He had a minor chip on his tooth. They scheduled him and completed this cosmetic procedure with ease and satisfaction! By the time he had a loose tooth, "he" was asking for a dental appointment!!! A 10 year old!! What can I say! We love this dentist!

OMG!!! Love, love this dentist office. Lara picked up on my nervousness right away. She was so patient with me. She got me laughing and put my mind as ease. Lara and Dr. Patel talked me thru my whole treatment. They were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Dr. Patel definitely expects Excellance from herself and her team. Dr. Patel is an amazing dentist with excellent bedside manner. Not many people, including myself, really enjoy going to the dentist but she makes my visit very comfortable and not intimating at all. My hygienist Samantha was thorough with my cleaning, clear on what work needed to be done and how we would take action, which I greatly appreciated. And Kelly at the front desk is always so friendly and easy going while maintaining excellent professionalism.
