Dr. Matthew Johnson was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He attended the University of South Carolina and received a Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry.
After graduation, he spent a year traveling Southeast Asia teaching English as a second language, returning in 2011 to begin a career in dentistry. In 2015, Dr. Johnson received his Doctoral of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina
Jenny was born and raised in Hillsborough and still lives there today. In 1992 she graduated from Alamance Community College as an expanded duty dental assistant and worked with various dental offices throughout the city of Durham. While working and beginning a family, Jenny furthered her career by attending Gilford Technical Community College and graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1999. Jenny has been with this dental family for 20 years. In her spare time she enjoys watching her daughters, Maggie and Mollie, cheerlead and play volleyball while spending time with her husband Tim and mini schnauzer Roxie. Jenny is also an active member at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
A native of good ol southern lake life, Tammy was born in Roxboro and moved to Durham while in High School. In 1992 she graduated from UNC Chapel Hills dental hygiene school and began working at the office that she still resides at today. With her husband Patrick, Tammy has three beautiful daughters who are all active cheerleaders and dancers. In their spare time, the family enjoys making memories boating and water skiing on Lake Mayo with their King Charles Cavalier Penny!
Mallorie is a veteran of the dental healthcare field. She has had an extensive career in managing dental offices and is now bringing her knowledge, expertise and fun-loving nature to our office! Mallorie is a native of Durham, North Carolina and loves the Bull City! She enjoys riding Harleys and spending time with her loved ones!!
Charlene hails from Creedmoor where she and her daughter Allison still live today. Charlene has been a dental assistant for 35 years, 16 of which are at the practice. The infamous Dr. Karen Johnson from UNCs School of Dental Assisting sparked Charlenes interest in dental assisting that sparked a lifelong career. Charlene treats everyone in our practice and is a staple of our team. In her free time, she enjoys watching her daughter run cross-country and spending time with her Jack Russell Terriers Bunnie and Mooey.
Born and raised in Orange County, Kim has always preferred living in the country. She and her husband, David, live in Prospect Hill, NC where she has her favorite kind of neighbors..cattle and wildlife. Kim has been in the dental field for the last 25 plus years. She enjoys getting to know the patients as family. In their spare time, she and David like going to antique shops and flea markets or spending time with family and friends, but MOST of all being entertained by their rescue babies, Millie, Savannah, and Norah.
Kayley resides in Bahama, NC with her family. She graduated from Northern High School in 2017 and is now attending University of North Carolina in Charlotte. She is a dance major but is also focusing on physical therapy. She loves spending time with her friends and snuggling with her cat!

Dr. Johnson is a Captain in the South Carolina National Guard where he serves as a General Dentist providing dental care to troops in the United States Army.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association and Durham Chamber of Commerce. He and enjoys cooking, traveling, aviation and spending time with his wife and two dachshunds Peanut and Olive.
