We began as La Cumbre Dental in 1963 with Dr. Gary Johnson Sr. In 2001, Dr. Steven Johnson purchased his fathers practice and renamed it Johnson Family Dental. Since then we have grown with two additional offices in Ventura and Solvang. This year we area celebrating our 50th anniversary and could not be more proud and humbled to be serving the Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
Our mission at Johnson Family Dental is to change, enrich and improve peoples lives by providing quality, general and cosmetic dentistry. We provide a gentle and compassionate environment, with outstanding service and excellent value, because A Smile Can change Your Life!

Christopher Neale was very rough and preoccupied or disconcerted. I've never left a dental office crying before. Find a different dentist, if you like pain Neale is your man.

the people who work the front desk here are extremely kind and helpful. the dentists themselves don't seem to know what they're doing, and they caused me more pain than i started with. i hope the workers in the front find a better company to use their customer service skills, as they did seem apologetic over my experience.

This office is the best for so many reasons. The Dr. Is super skilled, the staff amazing. And least expensive than all the others. Good experience

My first visit was about 2 months ago. The girls are Amazing! Switched Dentist because of New insurance plan....The Dentist was Ok...I had General Exam. Husband is going for little more detailed work..This will be The Test..... Had my teeth cleaned few weeks ok that went very well....

Horrible dentist practice. Clearly they don't know how to do a teeth cleaning which is basic and on top of that They said they use a different type of implant so they have to order the part which are backordered with the manufacturer but the first time they said that they just were not familiar with that inside in their office now they're saying not in the area so I'm confused in a try and call and Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center And see if they can refer me to a dentist who has a Parts. Johnson family dental have no clue what they are doing. This was my last visit, I am finding new dentist

Had my treatment started today and I can definitely say I had a great experience.in the past, when I've had dental work done, it was never painless. Dr. Neale numbned me up and I felt absolutely nothing. Definitely recommend this office. The office staff is friendly and professional.

If you are looking for a new dentist keep looking! Although the ladies at the front desk are very nice and helpful. The dentist is rough and not thorough at all. He sometimes has a dental assistance while working. One visit was for a teeth cleaning but they did not have a hygienist. The dentist cleaned my teeth, very quick and painful. The dental assistant polished my teeth and it was vert awkward. She clearly had no idea what she was doing. I do not recommend this office.
