Dr. Steve Johns has focused much of his dental practice on providing implants and reconstructive dentistry to his patients. Implant dentistry is my passion. It has given me the ability to greatly improve the quality of our patients lives by allowing them to function as they did with their own teeth. He has obtained credentialing in many implant organizations.
Dr. Steve Johns attended high school in Cookeville, Tennessee and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tennessee Technological University. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and returned to Cookeville to open a dental practice with his wife, Dr. Mary Linda in 1981.

Drs. Steve and Mary Johns are both very active in the community. They attend and teach Sunday school at the First United Methodist Church. Dr. Steve Johns sings in the church choir and the Upper Cumberland Barbershop Quartet Chorus.
He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1967 and is still very active with theBoy Scouts of America organization. He is a historian for the Upper Cumberland BSA and is the Unit Commissioner for Troop 108 and Assistant District Commissioner and District Chairman for the Upper Cumberland District.

Every step of our journey, we were met with kind people who were genuine and caring. This practice keeps early morning spots open for people with emergencies. Certainly beats a five month appointment window for a time sensitive dental need. We'll definitely be back.

They were able to get me scheduled promptly to repair two chipped teeth. Their online process for new patients eliminated the need to fill out all the paperwork in their office. They are very efficient and friendly, and did a beautiful job of repairing my front teeth. - Kelli S.

I am terrified of dentist and any dental procedures, due to a horrible past experience. Finally got insurance and decided I needed to see a dentist. The staff at John's family & implant Dentistry is amazing, they made me feel so comfortable as soon as I sat in the chair. I will be going back to have extensive dental work done. UPDATE: Sugery went great, I have never felt so comfortable going to a dentist. I have had minimal pain from the sugery.
