Dr. Chen strives to provide the best treatment for his patients while being gentle, patient and detail oriented. He understands that many people are nervous and anxious about going to see the dentist. This is why he provides for every patient a comfortable and relaxed experience. His career goal is to gain trust and confidence through clinical excellence and following the Golden Rule by treating others as he would want to be treated. Dr. Chen is a native of Marietta, GA. After graduating from McEachern High School, he attended Emory University and received his Bachelors of Science in Biology. He received his dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. After graduation, He went to practice in rural South Georgia where he has been helping the underserved community. Throughout his career, Dr. Chen has practiced all aspects of dentistry. His biggest passion is utilizing the CEREC technology, which allows for same day treatment of crowns, veneers, and onlays. He understands that it can be hard to make time to see the dentist, and tries his hardest to be efficient and serve your needs as quickly as possible.
Dentistry is something I genuinely enjoy. Not only the procedures and technical aspects of it, but the interaction with patients may be my favorite part. I hope to be able to provide you with the best care possible all while making the experience as relaxing as I can. - Dr. Han
Dr. Han first joined Johns Creek Dental Associate in 2021. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois in Chicago before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Throughout dental school, he volunteered in Cambodia for a Global Dental Relief trip, volunteered at local dental functions, and published an article in a scientific journal called Toxins.
As a Georgia native, Druid Hills High School graduate and Medical College of GA Alum, Dr. Vik is proud to serve the Brookhaven community and surrounding areas. After attending MCG, where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD), he had the unique opportunity to work with dental cosmetic specialists throughout the city, while acquiring additional experience in general dentistry through his work with a large group practice here in Georgia. With these skills he is able to bring artistry and excellence to his everyday work. He enjoys being a general/family dentist, and creating relationships with his patients that will last for generations. Dr. Vik invites patients of all ages to join his practice.
With the goal of offering first class patient centered dental care, Dr. Vik continues to travel throughout the country, staying abreast of new dental technology and cutting edge innovations for patients. Pain management and painless dentistry are his primary practice goals.
Dr.Bhatia is focused on his patients well being and has taken important steps to ensure their safety. By implementing digital x-rays, he hopes to reduce radiation for his patients, and no longer require the use of chemicals. His dental office also uses special amalgam traps in the office to prevent the mercury in the old silver fillings removed from going into the environment.
In his personal life, he is very family oriented and enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Tasneem Bhatia (Dr. Taz) and their two children Rania and Kabir. He is passionate about serving others as a healer and lives up to the true meaning of a Doctor.
Lydia is a goal-oriented team member who has enjoyed seeing JCDA grow since 2016. During that time she has served as a dental assistant, administrative team member, and office manager. Lydia and her husband are Georgia natives and enjoy playing music together, taking scenic walks, trying new recipes, and volunteer ministry work. You may not see her face at check-in anymore, but she is busy behind the scenes!
Chris has 20+ years experience in both dental and construction. Her passion is developing successful dental practices that put the patient first. She has worked with some of the top dentists in the nation and truly loves her profession. Chris prides herself on her leadership for her staff and education for her patients. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and focusing on her health goals.
Deb is an irreplaceable member of our practice. She takes great pride in her team, and is always working hard to support them so that they can focus on providing high caliber patient care. When she is not in office, she loves spending time with her family.
Dr. Freihaut is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree, before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia. He has practiced dentistry for over 3 years but has worked within the dental industry since 2006. Dr. Freihaut regularly volunteers his time and skills with the Ben Massell Dental Clinic here in Atlanta. In his free time, this outdoors loving dentist can be found reading, listening to music, or out rock climbing and skiing.
Ina is from Belarus and is tri-lingual! She has been in the dental field since 2017 and works chairside with the doctor. She values honesty, punctuality, and organization which is why she is such a great addition to our team and brings an excellent set of skills, warmth and friendliness to the office. When Ina is not caring for patients she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her son, watching movies and talking.
Miriam has been in the dental field for more than 16 years creating long lasting connections with her patients. She takes pride in providing personalized care to each and every one of them daily at JCDA. Miriam makes sure that everyone she comes across leaves the clinic feeling valued and educated.
Whitney has been a hygienist for 10 years, and though only recently joining the JCDA team, loves her team and her patients. She is from Brunswick, GA. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and spending quality time with her family.
Bree loves being a dental assistant because she loves her JC family and all of her amazing patients. Being able to assist in various aspects of dentistry and seeing how her patients transform in their oral health motivates her. Bree spends her free time swimming or spending time with her family.
Stephanie has been with our business team since early 2019. She is currently attending Georgia State University for business administration and finance, she enjoys learning new things every day and is a great support to our team. In her free time Stephanie loves spending time with her family, especially her 3 younger siblings.
