Digital x-rays immediately store x-ray images in a secure computer system, rather than on film. Film takes longer, is easy to lose, and requires 80% more radiation. Both the young and the elderly are protected when we use x-rays with lower levels of radiation.
During your examinations, you will be able to immediately see x-ray images of your teeth on the same screen that your dentist and hygienist are looking at. We use them to quickly make accurate diagnoses.
An intraoral camera is a miniature camera that looks like a large pen. It enlarges images of the inside of your mouth for you and your dentist to see together on a screen. This allows you to see what we see, and it helps us diagnose challenges that we can address quickly.
During any dental procedure, especially during oral surgery, we have an advanced computer system for Dr. Smith to use in the operating space. This ensures that your health information, x-rays, dental photos, and other data are all ready to be used during the procedure.
We want to produce the most successful outcome possible, which is why we have invested in computers in each operatory. These computers also organize all the pertinent information to help keep our workspace clean and efficient.
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Smith has long-term relationships with many patients who have been with the practice since it opened. A family-owned practice, most of the highly trained and friendly staff members have worked at the practice for more than 14 years.
Dr. Smith completed his undergraduate education at Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky, and the University of Kentucky in Lexington before earning his doctor of dental medicine at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He opened his private practice in 1997 and keeps his skills sharp with hundreds of hours of continuing education.
Dr. Smith genuinely likes caring for people and helping them improve and maintain optimal dental health. His extensive experience means patients wont need referrals to other providers for specialty services such as periodontal dentistry, cosmetic dentistry like teeth whitening, dental implants, crowns and bridges, emergency dentistry, or Invisalign orthodontics.

DR Johnny is soooo excellent His dentistry skill and knowledge are like no other Dentist I know He is truly the best in AZ . He makes you feel like he really cares for your well being and he puts your mind at ease even when your in surgery. His bedside manners are the best in AZ and his humor is well received because he comforts you even when there might be a problem . He always fixes what needs to be fixed Thank you Dr Smith Larry PS. I can't say enough about this Dental practice. They always treat you with respect and give you first rate care. Service is done on time and all the providers are extremely competent and make you feel comfortable while you are being taken care of. They address your concerns and answers questions. Dr. Smith and his entire team are the most friendly and professional people I've experienced in a long time. Each so knowledgeable in their specific field and answer all questions in terms you can understand, whether it be Aaron in the office explaining financial and insurance matters or the hygienists cleaning your teeth, all of the assistants so well trained, or Dr. Smith with his gentle and caring approach as well as a great sense of humor. Best of all, NO PAIN. I have had crowns & bridges done there and they are beautiful. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone...oh...and it's impeccably clean and has the most up-to-date equipment.

Dr. Smith has been my dentist for 23+ years. He is personable, professional and goes the extra mile for his patients. He also does not rip you off on dental needs and his staff is super.

I'm a Marine Corps veteran so had high expectations when i saw the USN medallion on the wall and i was not disappointed. Nicky was great as a hygienist, very thorough and Dr Smith is a great guy. think we hit it off when i asked him about working on Marines during his time in the Navy. i've had 3 visits so far and its been real good every time.

Dr. Smith and his team of front desk, hygienists, ect, made my experience positive and amazing today. I haven't been to the dentist in a few years, and it was overdue, Tje staff treated me with such kindess and professionalism and my teeth feel soooo much better being maintained.
