Went back for a recall. Very pleasant staff and dentist. Was brought back to the treatment room immediately and was attended to by the Dr. Shen without delay. Explained the procedure thoroughly and had a great cleaning.

Dr. John Shen is very skilled. Understand your needs, professional and knowledgeable. The procedure went very well, painless. Catherine his assistant is very helpful and patient.

Dr. Shen is very nice and patient. I was sent by my general dentist and was expecting to find out about more issues with my gums requiring attention. He said that my situation is within normal limits. He also showed the correct cleaning technique and discussed problems with the Oral-b electric toothbrush. There was a hiccup with his reception staff (they sent me a correct link for filing forms just 2 hours before the appointment), but he handled this issue professionally and I am happy with the service overall.

Can't say enough about this office! My 91 year old mother had an infected tooth. They squeezed her in at 5pm on a Saturday; Dr. Shen evaluated her and ended up extracting the tooth for her at the appointment. He is very knowledgeable and skilled, and does not do more than what is necessary. The office is very well run and the staff is always kind, courteous and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Shen and his staff.

Dr.Shen is amazing. He explained in details of my periodontitis assessment. Thanks to him I found out I only need to treat 2 quadrants instead of doing all quadrants which I was originally told by another Periodontist Office. Took 1 star off because it was difficult to schedule an appointment with them

Had a bad experience with the payments. My estimated price and what I was given finally was completely different. It was a difference of close to 800$. And when I asked about why was the estimate so wrong, I was answered with "because that is just an estimate". Be warned!

Dr. Shen is an amazing periodontist, and very friendly! He has treated myself as well as my family and I can say that he does excellent work whether it is cleanings, implants, extractions, or gum surgery. The service is wonderful, the staff are great and the office is so conveniently located! I am very satisfied and glad to know I have a periodontist I can go to.

Dr. Shen's office is exceptionally well organized and efficient. Staffs are well trained and very friendly. Dr. Shen has excellent skill, knowledge and bedside manner. I will not hesitate to refer anyone to him.

Dr. Shen is hands down the most warm, gentle, careful dentist I know. He and his staff are so kind, thoughtful, and professional. He's not only very skilled dentist, but he's a great person as well. I started going to him regularly just because of how personable he was and there was never any pain when getting my teeth cleaned because of how gentle he was. He also wanted me to understand where some of my potential problem areas were and instructed me how to effectively clean it. If I didn't understand something he would bring out models to help me understand. Overall I would 110% recommend my friends and family to see Dr. Shen.

Came into Dr. Shen's office to get an exam and cleaning done. Katherine, his assistant, was super helpful in helping me understand what was going to be done during my visit and helping me understand my insurance. Dr. Shen was just as awesome in explaining to me about the small problem areas I had and the things I needed to do to to improve my oral health. Luckily, no major problems were found during the exam. The cleaning was so gentle and thorough and my mouth felt so squeaky clean afterwards!! Everyone was so friendly, the office is very clean!!! I felt very comfortable the whole time during my visit. And the best part is ice cold water or apple juice in the mini fridge located in the waiting room! Ice cold apple juice! Yum!!

Though he is a specialist for surgical procedures, I find myself preferring to come here even for regular clean-ups. I am one of many who absolutely hate the dentist. However, I find that the equipment and staff at this dental office make it a little more bearable. I can tell their equipment is newer because it hurts less and sounds less like a chainsaw massacre. The professionalism and manner of the staff is great. Dr. Shen himself is a nice guy and takes a patient-first approach to his work. When asked, he thoroughly explained his actions and procedures and made me feel at ease. Patient and skilled. I feel like I can trust the guy and have yet to leave my appointments with a bad taste in my mouth aside from the fluoride coating. Can't say the same for many other establishments. To sum it up this place has modern equipment, well trained staff, a cozy office and a good dentist at the head of it all.
