I began working in dentistry in 1990 as a dental assistant. I have been with Dr. Striebels office since 1999. I like working here because of the amazing people I meet on a daily basis and that Dr. Striebel truly loves dentistry. He has high standards and strives to give every patient the latest and greatest in dentistry. This makes our office an exciting place to work. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my four children.
I have been working in dentistry since 1990 and with Dr. Striebels office for over 7 years. I love to see the smiles that we bring to our patients while treating them with kindness and respect. As a receptionist, I enjoy making our patients laugh and feel comfortable. In my spare time, I decorate cakes as a hobby, enjoy cooking, attending ROTC functions with my sons, and watching football.
Being a dental hygienist was always a dream of mine, and today I truly believe I work with a dream team. Our office is amazing and Dr. Striebel keeps us up to date on the newest technology. I love helping to improve my patients smiles and hearing about their families and interests. I love spending time with my friends, family, and grandchildren- my dogs, cat and horse too! I also enjoy painting, gardening, boating and travel.
I have been a dental assistant for over 20 years and attended the Red Cross Dental Assisting Program in Hanau, Germany. I also have training as a surgical technician. I love all the people who come into our office and listening to their life stories about travel, friends and family. Dr. Striebel is current on new products to make dentistry easier for our patients and that makes the work experience in our practice rewarding. I am always learning new techniques at continuing education seminars and from Dr. Striebel. My daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter live in Sweden so I enjoy traveling to visit them. I also enjoy riding motorcycles with my husband and spending time with my Ohio family.

With digital X-rays, we can show you the results instantly, on your chairside monitor. We can also reproduce them infinitely and transfer them digitally for insurance purposes. And best of all digital X-rays expose our patients to about 90% less radiation, and theyre safer for the environment, too!
The American Dental Association recommends dental checkups at least twice a year for everyone age five and up. However, some patients require more frequent visits to maintain optimal oral health. At your checkup, we will screen for oral cancer, scan your teeth with our cavity-finding laser, evaluate your periodontal health, and take intraoral photos and digital X-rays. Many dental conditions, gum disease, for example, have very mild warning signs that patients dont notice prior to their dental visit. By attending regular checkups, you can prevent minor problems from escalating and potentially jeopardizing your long-term oral health.
Laser treatment can be combined with comprehensive periodontal therapy to reduce some periodontal infection. The laser also promotes reattachment of gums to the teeth and does not require sutures. Laser treatment for gum disease is precise, conservative, and comfortable in comparison to traditional methods. Oftentimes, we can perform the treatment in a single visit, and many patients dont need anesthesia during laser therapy.
