Dr. John Bunnell, DDS graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1997, and has been practicing dentistry in Kona since 1998. Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended the University of San Francisco, earning a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Bunnell has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, with particular emphasis on dental implant surgery and restoration, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.
Dr. Colin Taylor earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2017 from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Prior to dental school, Dr. Taylor grew up in Brainerd, Minnesota. He earned a multidisciplinary Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, where he studied Life Sciences and the History of Medicine.
Dr. Taylor is skilled at performing extractions, and received the Henry B. Clark Jr. award at the University of MN School of Dentistry for his achievements in performing oral surgery. He also excels at restoring his patient's function and esthetics with crowns, bridges and implant restorations. He truly enjoys all facets of dentistry.

Dr. Colin Taylor is a skilled and professional Dentist! With all the trauma I have experienced at a dentist, I have never experienced such mastery. Even the numbing experience was better, it was never that annoying tingling sensation and It never "wandered" to another area of my face. Definitely keeping my faith in this place! Thank you!

I received a thorough exam by Dr. Bunnell to check out a tooth that was causing occasional pain. An action plan implemented to resolve the issue during my upcoming cleaning. Everyone at the office is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. Stacy goes out of her way to make sure my dental cleaning is as painless as possible.

Required a root canal and was pleased how quickly Dr Taylor and his staff accommodated me. After healing I returned for an annual cleaning with dental hygienist Stacy M. For those who fear the dentist, you will not find a more professional yet fun group of people to help you relax and take care of your precious pearly whites!

I had a great experience with Dr. Taylor who replaced a crown for me today in 2 hours!!! He is very gentle while giving you an injection so you don't even feel the needle!! I also noticed how polite he was to his assistant, just one more reason to highly recommend Dr. Taylor for all of your dental needs!!
