As a dental professional, Dr. McGuire stays up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for his patients. As a doctor, he recognizes that his patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in him and his team.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Cal State Long Beach, Dr. John McGuire earned his dental degree from the University of Southern California Dental School. Dr. McGuire has received advanced training in Digital Dentistry using CAD/CAM technology and in treating sleep apnea using oral sleep appliances.
Throughout his career, Dr. McGuire has supported the education of future dental professionals. He has taught at the University of California, Los Angeles and Cypress College. He guest lectures on 'Oral Cancer Screening using Velscope Technology' at the dental assisting program at Cypress College. He also guest lectures on 'Sleep Apnea Awareness and Treatment for the Dental Professional' at the dental hygiene program at West Coast University.
Dr. Alexander Choe was born and raised in Southern California. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University, College of Dentistry. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the VA West Los Angeles Medical Center.
Dr. Choe is enthusiastic about attending continuing education courses regularly and is committed to staying current with the latest dental technology in order to provide the highest quality care for his patients. Dr. Choe places dental implants and is licensed in oral conscious sedation. Dr. Choe is passionate about his work and strives to ensure that your dental visit is as comfortable as possible.
He loves building relationships and finds it very gratifying giving his patients a reason to smile. Dr. Choe lives with his wife, Tina, his three kids Maddie, Nolan, and Mabel, and his French bulldog Winston. He enjoys attending church, playing basketball, rooting for the Lakers, traveling, watching movies, but mostly loves spending time with his family & friends.
Dr. Ho-Yin Leung grew up in Southern California where he attended Bishop Amat High School. Dr. Leung became a dentist to help people and a periodontist because he felt that was the best way he could help patients improve their smiles. He is a highly skilled and knowledgeable periodontist who believes in delivering the highest quality dental care to his patients. He is experienced in all phases of modern periodontal therapy and dental implant placement, using advanced techniques and materials.
Dr. Leung pursued the highest levels of clinical and research training in periodontics. He completed training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the UCLA School of Dentistry where he completed several years of post-doctoral education in gum disease and dental implants. Dr. Leung received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at UCLA School of Dentistry, his Master of Science in Biological Sciences at University of California, San Diego.
Throughout his career, Dr. Leung has taught and supervised future dentists. He currently lectures at the University of California Los Angeles School of Dentistry. He has been involved in various research efforts at University of California, Los Angeles, California Institute of Technology, and University of California, San Diego. Dr. Leung has also authored numerous research articles in such publications as Journal of Oral Implantology and Journal of Clinical Investigations

I have been going to Dr. McGuire since roughly junior high. I'm in my 40s now. Always great work done with my visits. Unfortunately, Dr. McGuire has recently retired. However, today I had a dental appointment and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Choe. Very nice and professional. I will continue going to him.

Dr. John and his whole staff are absolutely amazing! A special shout out to Rose for holding my hand through some pretty intense work I had done! If you have ever been traumatized by a bad dental experience, these are the folks you want! They have bent over backwards to help me and my family ( great with kids!!) in last minute/ emergency situations and I can't say enough about the kindness and respect they have for their patients. Stop scrolling, these are the folks you need!

I spent thousands of dollars with Dr McGuire who was my father's dentist. EVERYTHING he touched failed! I noticed his hands shaking the last couple times I went years ago and stopped going to him. Through the years one tooth at a time he "fixed" failed & had to be redone (root canal, crown etc). Now I'm under the care of another dentist and we're putting it all together with my records & Dr McGuire. FAILED ME MISERABLY ON EVERY SINGLE TOOTH HE WORKED ON! I'm thinking of suing him at this time and I do not recommend this office.

First visit here and they are wonderful! Everyone is friendly and the visit was efficient. I had X-rays and photos taken, along with an oral exam and met the doctor and all of it only took 40 minutes. Strongly recommend this place!
