Dr. Marino saved me from bad dentistry I experienced during childhood. Due to this bad dentistry, my bite was collapsing and had profoundly affected my facial structure. Dr. Marino formulated a well thought out plan to countermand the progression of my collapsing bite. A permanent fix that ultimately fixed my mouth and saved my own set of teeth. His work is exceptional. From gum grafting to braces, to onlays, to crowns. Even with the years it took, the result is worth it! More importantly, through all the years and treatments, he always treated me like family.

The staff is always very friendly and welcoming when you walk in for your appointment. Everyone from Dr. Marino to the dental hygienist, to the technician always made sure I was comfortable and explained everything that was going to happen during my appointment before any work began. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in that area.

I have been to several Dentists in the past 30+ years, and have never experienced the level of professionalism that Dr Marino and his staff approach their Patients with. If you are like me, a visit to the Dentist is the last thing you want to do. In this case, I was put at ease, knowing that the care that was necessary, would be done right. I immediately felt like family the moment I walked through the door! This isn't one of those offices where they have a huge staff, and the waiting area is full of people. This is an intimate setting where you get the care and treatment that you deserve.

As a kid I was taken to Marino's office for braces. He popped braces on my teeth at the young age of 10 while I still had some baby teeth. He had the braces so I only had brackets on my 4 top front teeth and a wire bent up with a sharp edge that pushed against my gums until the wire bent down to connect to one of my back molars on each side. It's hard to explain but where the wire bent up with the sharp edge constantly dug into my inner lip leaving massive holes that got bloody and infected. To this day I still have flabs of skin on my inner lip that hang (and this was almost 10 years ago) so I am scarred for life from his braces. John Marino showed no concern about this though and continued with me having braces only on my top 4 teeth for a long while. During that time he decided he wanted to take out my baby teeth without any warning (or anesthesia) or notification to me or my mother so he just came in and got his nurses to hold me down and stuck a device in my mouth that would tear my teeth from my gums. I cried but he didn't care that these teeth weren't ready to come out, he yanked out at least 4 of them that day and I'll never forget what it was like to literally have a mouthful of blood as I cried. Then at one point he put a wire connecting my two back molars across the top of my mouth, and again showed no concern when that wire dug into the top of my mouth. I still have an scar from that wire where the roof of my mouth had swollen up so bad from the wire digging leaving a huge indent. Suffice to say after a few years of his treachery we left with no results and had to see another orthodontist. Three years with him literally did nothing but cause me immense pain and horror and then as soon as we switched I had a full mouth of braces off in a year pain free with perfect teeth. John Marino is money hungry and manipulative and has not a care for the comfort of his patients. He will lie and keep telling you he needs more time and he will keep draining your wallet while he purposefully doesn't make progress in your mouth and just keeps you in braces as long as possible to make more money. If he had it his way I would have been in braces for 10 years just to make more money.

Terrible... he knows what he's doing when he works with adults, however he treats children terribly. Both my kids have deep scars in their mouths on both sides with flaps of skin hanging off the scars.. it would take surgery to fix the damage. I left his office many years ago when I FINALLY listened to my daughter and son about how they were being treated. They are now 19 and 20 and STILL have deep damage inside their mouths. He also one day pulled my daughter's teeth out without consulting me or giving her anything for pain.. she was bleeding profusely and has been freaked out ever since when it comes to the dentist. His wife also told me about hitting her daughter in the mouth when she had braces on her teeth and how it made her bleed.. she had a smile on her face when she told me.. I was really stupid to not protect my poor kids.
