At The Dental Health Coach, we take the time to listen to your concerns and previous experiences before ever looking at your teeth. We discuss the causes of dental disease and how to avoid the need for future dental repair. We are gentle and use the latest technology to ensure your visits are comfortable.

We will submit claims to your insurance as a courtesy to you. Please be aware that insurance does not cover all procedures 100%. It is your responsibility to know your insurance coverage and policy limitations. You are ultimately responsible for your bill if your insurance does not pay in a timely manner. Any insurance plans that pay patient directly will be treated as a private pay with the exception that we will still submit claims on your behalf.

Financial arrangements are available for some services. Major work such as crowns, bridges, dentures, partials or implants requires a minimum payment of half of your anticipated copay when work is started.

I love being able to use my skills and talents to help people. I enjoy getting to know our patients and allow them to get to know me. This process helps to develop a trust and a relationship between us. I really like the opportunity to get to know so many different people. It really gives me a sense of accomplishment to be able to help someone.

What do you like best about working in the dental office? Working outside my home gives me a chance to interact with different people. The added income allows my family extra opportunities we may not be able to have if I was a stay at home Mom. I also like being a part of a great team.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I have two young children who keep me very busy! I am fortunate to be able to work part-time 4 days a week, which gives me a lot of time to be able to spend with my family and volunteering at our kids school. My husband and I enjoy gardening and we try to get away camping with the family whenever we get a chance. We also spend a lot of time with our family and friends, there is never a quiet moment around our house we are always busy doing something.

Favorite Patient Story: I really enjoy seeing patients transform in our practice. Several years ago, a single woman in her early 30s had not been to the dentist in many years. She was very scared due to some bad experiences in the past. During her interview with Dr. John, she got very emotional about being there and was crying. She was one of the most nervous patients I had ever seen in our office. After many years and talking her through a significant amount of dentistry, she is now choosing to have dentistry done, asking when can we do the next step? She moved to IL and now drives several hours to come see us. Seeing how far she has come really is impressive.

I love my career and our office. I like the interaction I have with our patients, the ability I have to help people, and the reward I get when I see people change their habits and work towards health.

What do you like best about hygiene? Its rewarding and challenging. I am not a person to sit at home, I need interaction with people. I know as a hygienist I can make a difference in my patients health, and I like that.

What do you like to do when not at work? We have a cottage and I enjoy relaxing there. I love downhill skiing and spending time with my family. I like to experiment with different recipes and try to make them as healthy as possible. I enjoy working out, and I just started taking yoga classes.

Ginas favorite patient story! We have a patient that I struggled with because she would come in time after time and have heavy plaque and food debris each time. It got frustrating and I was ready to give up. We got a new technology at work that measures plaque and her eyes and ears were opened and she responded well. My frustration turned to feeling like I finally broke through whatever barrier that I had with her. This was rewarding. I think we have a great office to work in, I am fortunate to work with such wonderful people. Our technology is top of the line and very helpful when trying to move our patients toward health. We have a lot of tools to work with that makes my job easier. We all work very well together.

What do you like about dental assisting? I love helping our patients by transforming their smiles, assisting them to improve their health, and educating patients on good oral health. I really like the patient interaction and getting to know each individual.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I am married to the love of my life and my best friend and together we have two boys. I enjoy playing outside with my kids and going for walks. I also cherish spending time with my family. Other things I like to do include: watching movies, cleaning, deer hunting, and shopping.

Nikki is a Dental Assistant here at the Dental Health Coach. She is originally from North Carolina and has been a Dental Assistant in many different states throughout the country since 2008 while traveling with her husband in his career in the Coast Guard.

I love being able to interact with all the different patients I get to meet on a day-to-day basis. I love the versatility of being a Dental Assistant and always seeing new and exciting procedures that aid people to achieve their dental health goals.

What do you like to do when you are not at work? I have two children who keep my husband and I very busy. With a pre-teen daughter and young son who are very active in sports, we dont get very much down time. Both of our families are out-of-state, and we enjoy traveling home to visit them whenever we get the opportunity.

I love dental hygiene because of the relationships I build with my patients and getting to know everyones story. I enjoy providing my patients the tools they need to be able to improve their oral and overall health.

What do you like most about your coworkers?Everyone works together as a team and is friendly and professional. The entire team has similar goals and the drive to provide exceptional overall care to our patients.

What do you like to do outside the office? Being a busy Mom leaves me little time for hobbies. I have 4 children who keep me on my toes and always on the go. My husband and I both enjoy music and watching movies if we ever get a quiet moment.

What do you like most about your co-workers?They have truly welcomed me to their team and go out of their way to assist me with anything I may need. They are the true definition of team players. They are also fun and kind.

What do you like to do when you are not at work?Spend time with my significant other, my sister, many friends, and my dogs. I enjoy travel, live music, and volunteering with dog rescue organizations. I recently bought a new home and have been busy renovating and updating many areas little by little, and am very lucky to have a handy partner who is a jack of all trades.

Favorite Patient Story: Every day there is a new one. Whether its a story of how our dentistry transformed them, or how coming to our practice feels like visiting family. I also love their personal stories of amazing places they have traveled, as well as accomplishments they or their children may have achieved.
