Dr. John Cargasacchi went to college at the University of the Pacific. He graduated in 1986 with a degree in Biological Science. He then attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco and graduated in 1989. Dr. Cargasacchi then completed a one year advanced post graduate residency at Strong Memorial Hospital through the University of Rochester in Rochester New York. It was during this time that he decided to specialize in Periodontology and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, receiving advanced training in Periodontology and Dental Implants. He received his specialty certification in Periodontology in 1993. Dr. Cargasacchi has been a part-time clinical professor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and an instructor at Cypress College where he taught Periodontology.
Dr. Cargasacchi has been practicing Periodontics and placing Dental Implants in his Cerritos office since 1994. Dr. Cargasacchi passionately pursues continuing dental education in dentistry in order to maintain current, proven methods of treatment for his patients.

Excellent! Dr. C is taking care of my mouth! Looks at the overall situation on how to coordinate fixing your mouth. After several bad experiences, with other dentists, I am NOW on the right track to my mouth being healthy. The entire office is professional, kind and looking out for your best interest. Thank you.

Dr. Cargasacchi and his staff are just wonderful. They are all so pleasant, which makes going to get your teeth fixed a much more positive experience than you'd expect. I love them all!

I was fearful of deep cleanings and dental surgery until I came to his office. There were no lectures about brushing and flossing schedule or techniques. I was amazed with how simple the process was given the four quadrants to be cleaned. The costs and assistance with all the insurance filing was most satisfactory. I regret Dr not having an office in Coppell Texas. I would say to him think about this! Will miss you.

Not only bad with implants but also bad with gum tissue transplants. Not friendly, doesn't return calls, won't take you even during emergency situations he causes. The white doctor's jacket does not mean effective. He has really overestimated my respect for him. I want to share two dramatic situations one on my son, one on my best friend.
