Below is our New Patient Package that you will need to complete on your first visit. You can expedite matters by downloading the package, completing it at home and handing it to our staff when you arrive for your initial visit to our office.
Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.

Our dental office uses the latest state-of-the-art equipment and cutting edge technology and we uphold the strictest sterilization techniques. We know that many people may feel anxious about coming to the dentist, so it is our goal to make your visit with us as pain and anxiety free as possible. We view it as our mission to educate our patients about all of their oral health care options and to help guide them to choose a treatment plan that is most suitable and appropriate for their needs.
We will be more than happy to submit all insurance claims for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We do request that you pay your discussed estimated portion at the time services are rendered. Our office accepts checks, cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Care Credit which is a finance company that offers extended payment options for dental and medical procedures -some interest free.

"Simply the best, a cut above all the rest.". Many people experience dental anxiety, I know I do. You are put at ease from the moment you open the door. Lovely reception area. Outstanding receptionists and front end staff. All questions are answered thoroughly, respectfully and with a smile. You are treated like a friend in the sense they want you to feel better and all efforts are made to get you in to see Dr. Peterman asap. The dental hygienists and assistants are cheerful as well with extraordinary patience explaining procedures, options, and most anything you ask with a genuine desire to help you to feel comfortable. They get to know you as a person and remember you with ease the next time you come. You are never left sitting by yourself, if it's going to be a few extra minutes, someone pops in and let's you know and asks if you need anything. Dr. Peterman is great too, as if all the prior wasn't enough, he comes in and and is laid back, caring and listens to your concerns and questions and takes the time to explain until you are comfortable. There is no pressure or desire to perform unnecessary procedures. You decide with the information provided. The best thing of all is once you are a patient you are cared for by this amazing staff of professionals. The first time I came there was a child with an emergency tooth injury being cared for and it ran a few minutes past my time. They were all apologetic and concerned I had to wait. I said no problem. I had an injury to my teeth as a child and could empathize with this child. I also knew if I ever had an emergency, I would be treated the same way. Dr. Peterman is excellent in terms of knowledge and ability for sure. The rest is what creates an environment where going to the dentist, for me, no longer creates anxiety.

Dr. Peterman and his staff are phenomenal! 5 stars are not enough. I requested a very last minute appointment as a new patient and was generously accommodated. Not only is every individual in this office personable and kind, but professional and efficient, too. I would recommend this office to anybody looking for a dentist.

Every single person in Dr. Peterman's office goes above and beyond. Every visit we have is such a pleasant experience. We have gone to several dentist around the Cape and on Martha's Vineyard and his office is the best we have been to. We gladly make the trip from MV to his office. Highly recommend!!

After a few negative experiences at other adult dentists, I was recommended to this office and have now been going here for years. Dr. Peterman, Laura and all the other hygienists are friendly and kind, gentle but effective in my mouth, and respectful of my wishes and do not push unnecessary treatments or xrays just to make money. I definitely recommend getting teeth cleanings here!
