I have been going to Dr. Aurelia for years and can't say enough great things about him or his staff! Not only are they very friendly and professional, they really care about their patients. I recently went in for a chipped front tooth. I couldn't be happier with the result! It looks amazing and I can already predict I'll be smiling more! I would proudly recommend Dr. Aurelia and his team to anyone looking for excellent dental care!

The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons performed a poll a few years ago, which revealed that approximately 70 percent of American adults are missing one or more teeth by the age of 44, caused by either extensive damage from cavities, physical trauma, or gum disease. The risk of tooth loss only increases as we grow older, with 26 percent of those aged 74 and older requiring full-mouth restoration.

When a permanent tooth or teeth are lost, it is important to find the optimal form of replacement as soon as possible. The absence of teeth can lead to the shifting of remaining teeth, and oral bacteria can gain momentum against optimal oral health.

Where there was once only one of two ways to replace a missing tooth or teeth, dental bridgework or dentures, we now have more options available than ever before. Bridgework may be fixed or removable, in the form of a partial denture. And even dentures have improved over the past several decades. The denture appliances made today are crafted with more precision for a better fit, and made with high quality materials for a natural aesthetic. The problem is, conventional dentures for total tooth replacement still rely on suction for stability.

Dental implants were first developed more than thirty years ago. This form of tooth replacement has been proven through years of follow-up, which shows us that many of those first treated with dental implants are still enjoying the full function and natural beauty that comes from this procedure. Implants, in contrast to dentures, are situated within healthy jawbone tissue. After a short healing time, the tiny cylinders become fused into the bone, where they will remain as long as the bone stays healthy.

The benefits that come from this structure are many. In addition to providing the highest degree of stability for an artificial tooth, or even a denture appliance, implants also ensure that bone tissue within the jaw remains intact for many years, as this tissue is sufficiently stimulated through the replacement of teeth roots.

I have known Dr John for several years. Not only is he an outstanding dentist, he is an outstanding person. He and his staff are always so gentle and so kind. They take their time explaining the procedure so that there are no surprises! I highly recommend this office.

I'm Delighted. I had a significant amount of work done and didn't look forward to it. Both Dr. Aurelia and Jessica were terrific. Talk about "chair-side manner," they made me feel comfortable, were always checking to make sure I was doing OK, they really cared. He's a confident perfectionist, my kind of guy and I trust him. One tooth felt a smidge off and he kept tweaking it until it was perfect. Jessica was just as attentive, a really great team with a long history (and they're funny together). No baloney here, ask em, they'll show you a picture of my teeth, they were as proud of their work as I am. I have a new confidence, no more tight-lipped grins for me. Watch out world, here I come...all smiles! PS, Dr. Khoury seems pretty cool too, she came in and spent 15 minutes helping Jessica, the Dr. and I choose the right color for my crown, who does that anymore?

I don't think anyone enjoys going to the dentist but Dr. Aurelia and his staff do an incredible job of making you feel comfortable, and relaxed. Every person on staff is friendly, professional, accommodating, and educated. They do an amazing job at explaining in detail what they are doing, and/or what needs to be done. My entire family has gone to him for many years and we all highly recommend him and his office!

I've seen Dr. Dina Khoury several times now. She has done a crown and a filling for me. She is excellent...warm, caring, answers all your questions. I had a pain-free experience in her competent hands and good results. Recommend her highly!

I have been going to Dr. Aurelia for over 10 years and have had nothing but excellent experiences. The hygienists are great, the office staff is helpful, and it is easy to tell that Dr. Aurelia and Dr. Khoury (I have seen both) are both highly skilled and highly trustworthy. I recommend Dr. Aurelia to all of my friends and family in the area.

Best team and Dentist in the Metro Detroit area. Dr. Aurelia treats my entire family, including my two small children, and has since their first time at the Dentist. Staff is friendly and courteous and does as great a job treating small wiggly children as they do treating adults. No details were spared in making patients feel safe during these current times, office is clean and safe, we cannot say enough good things about our experience!

I can't say enough good about Dr. Aurelia AND all of his staff. To me it's not like going to the dentist, it's like a family reunion. His whole staff is very polite, constantly smiling, they listen to your needs and explain your treatment very well. I'm always so happy to see them no matter what work I'm having done, their common courtesy and chair side manner makes all my anxiety melt away. They work together amazingly as a team, their work is impressive and should you need shots, the way he gives them makes it not all that bad. All of his hygienists are fantastic, I've seen them all and do not have a preference because they are all just as good as each other and are all sweet as can be. I will always continue to see them for all of my dental needs simply because it feels like home.

Visiting in Rochester Hills and had an aching tooth. A crown that had been recently replaced in FL was apparently not adjusted quite right and was giving the tooth above a great deal of pain. Since Dr. Aurelia is my daughter's dentist, I called at 8A to be given a 9A appointment. Dr. Aurelia diagnosed the issue quickly and knowledgeably as one that just needed a little grinding down of the new crown. What a guy! What a dentist! Very pleased indeed! If I move back to MI, I would use his practice for sure. Everyone was so accommodating and professional.
