I was in excruciating pain due to an infection under a crown that could not be seen on an X-ray. My husband called my regular dentist (whom I no longer go to) and was told, "just tell her to keep taking the antibiotics".They were closed the next day (a Friday) and did not offer to see me. He then googled some other doctors in town and called Dr. Killeen's answering service (his sweet wife, Lana). She instructed us on what to do and made a spot for me at their office the very next morning. I've never been treated with such kindness and care. They even called and texted over the weekend to check on me.

Dr. Killeen and his entire team are very professional and provide outstanding services while at the same time creating an informal atmosphere helping the patient to feel comfortable. I had an issue with one of my teeth and Dr. Killeen and his staff were able to see me immediately and resolve the problem and put me at ease. Whew!!! Relief! Much appreciated Dr. Skip!

I have been going to Dr. Killeen for years. He is very knowledgeable and I appreciate his conservative approach in helping me keep my teeth in good shape. His staff are wonderful as well.

When we moved into the area 14 years ago, I spent some time researching the dentists in MS and LA looking for the best dentist to fit our needs. I narrowed it down to two, one in each state. We were shopping in Slidell at the time and I decided to stop in at Dr Killeen's Office and "check it out." I found the staff to be friendly and professional. The office waiting room was very nicely furnished and comfortable. Each of the exam rooms had a full-length glass wall that overlooked either a a tranquil lake with wildlife or a garden area. I decided that "this is it", we would try Dr Killeen. After arriving for my first appointment, I met Dr John Killeen. I liked him from the start. He's very personable, intelligent, down-to-earth and I felt my teeth and smile were in very good hands. In my humble opinion Dr John Killeen is "The Best." I found that the Office Administrator was also "Exceptional!" Lana is extremely knowledgeable about dentistry and I found out over time that she is tenacious at going after the insurance companies to make sure they pay their proper share of the bill, thereby saving you a lot of money. I didn't realize it at first, but found out after a few visits that she is Dr Killeen's wife. As the old saying goes, "behind every good man is a good woman," and that's definitely the case here. She runs the office, hires and trains the staff, and does an excellent job of it. I also found out they are very much into "Continuing Education in Dentistry." Attending classes and seminars that teach the latest techniques, procedures, etc., throughout the year, year to year. To sum it up, my family and I love Dr Killeen, Lana and their entire staff. We wouldn't trust our teeth and smiles to anyone else.

They always exceed all expectations & some!! Also, very kid friendly & my children actually look forward to going to the dentist.

The staff is very friendly, Mr. John Killeen DDS is very kind and patient. He makes sure that he walks you through everything before hand, and I really appreciated that because as you know some of us have fear of going to the dentist office. I highly recommend going to John Killeen dentist office. They really care!!

Always professional, yet feels like family! Twice yearly visits are a joy to be greeted like I had just recently seen by all of their staff. Treatment plans are thorough and Lana always explains totally what will be done in advance. Follow throughs are greatly appreciated. Such a wonderful experience to be happy to walk into a dentist's office. Thanks to everyone for making me feel comfortable at my visits!
